Great coil pack over OE
As advertised direct plug and play, itโs very high quality, you can feel the difference compared to the OE coil pack immediately. Everything is beefy. After installing the MSD coil pack the Jeep did run better with better top end performance where it used to fall on its face. The power band seems more linear. Any who, 100% recommend it!

Quality Part
Works flawlessly. I didnโt notice any increased performance, but I didnโt expect to. Mainly bought this to confirm that my issue wasnโt caused by the coil. Seems well made and like it will last.

Makes the jeep 4.0 run like new
Fairy easy to install, the hardest part is the clip for the power by the fire wall, it gets stuck on the old coil rail. Otherwise a ten minute job, runs smoother and acceleration is great, helps with fuel mileage too.

I've been using MSD since the 1980's and they don't disappoint.
Direct fit, no fuss no muss. Bolts right up, the boots come prelubed. The plug fits like the original. The Jeep fired right up. Since I was changing the factory NGK NRF5N plugs as specified on the emissions label and this Jeep is going to be 20 years old next year I decided to have a new coil rail so that I wouldn't have to worry about the spark plug boots.

Kid smoooove!
Installation was straightforward. It was more difficult than I anticipated but it wasnโt due to the product. The coil rail was a nice bright red, livened up the motor compartment. I also changed my plugs. I had a little miss and stumble but that is gone and my 4.0 purrs like a kitten. Such a smooth idle! Itโs like night and day. Seat of the pants dyno, maybe thereโs something. Definitely worth the money, if you have a rough idle.

2006 Jeep TJ - Definitely smoothed out the idle and acceleration. Fingers crossed that these a more heat soak resistant than the stock units.

A pain to install; but got the job done!
No more misfire, solved the issue. A great struggle to install, pack a lunch!
