As a retired electrical engineer who specialized in energy storage, actual battery performance is of prime concern, specifically the 2 Ah, or 2000 milliampere hour. So upon receipt, I fully charge and test each battery and compare to its advertised or namelabel rating. I bought two batteries at a good sale price, free shipping and a state sales tax holiday. Test results were 1.86 and 1.88 Ah at 4 amperes constant current discharge to 8.0V low voltage cutoff, commonly called a 2C rate. Test was conducted on a West Mountain Radio model CBA III. These results are excellent, only 6.5% below rated, considering the 2C rate. Amperes hour rating are, by standard, for a C/20 rate, but who wants to wait 20 hours for a test. So the 2C test only takes 30 minutes. At higher rates (amperage), the delivered Ah will be less. This is always the case and under 10% is expected for this chemistry. Genuine Milwaukee rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries have always tested similarity in my experience with 12 and 18 volt versions of various rated capacities (Ah). That's been 6 of 18V and now 9 of the 12V. I once tried a knockoff 12V and it test way below 50%. I complained, vendor sent replacement, it failed to do better, so vendor refunded. Genuine Milwaukee batteries are tops in performance, quality, durability, etc. in my opinion. Amazon superb vendor.
