I chose the three different types of bristles to give me a variety depending on my cleaning needs. I use the plastic bristles when I don't want to scratch something up and the metal bristles for cleaning electrical terminals and other such parts. The handles are a really good solid durable plastic and the bristles are well anchored into it. Great little brushes.

The Rust Remover Brass Brush (3 Pack Small) is decent for light cleaning jobs, but don’t expect them to last long. The brushes work well at first, effectively scrubbing away rust, grime, and buildup on small surfaces. The bristles are soft enough to avoid scratching delicate materials, which is a plus. However, durability is a major issue. After just a few uses, the bristles started falling out, and the brush heads became loose. They seem to wear out quickly, especially when used on tougher rust spots or rougher surfaces. The handles are also a bit flimsy, making them uncomfortable for extended use. For quick, one-time or light-duty jobs, these might be fine, but if you need something longer-lasting, I’d recommend a sturdier option. It’s an okay product, but the short lifespan makes it less than ideal for serious rust removal.

I bought these because they came up as rust removers. There are small patches of rust on the ends of a grab bar in our shower. These brushes had no effect at all.
