For some reason, this is the only moisturizer that does not make my makeup or sunscreen pill up which is the most obnoxious thing ever & I know that different ingredients will do that when mixed together but I've tried SOOOOO Many & they all seem to do it except this. I do love a gel moisturizer anyway. It also makes my skin feel nice & it absorbs in very fast. Doesn't leave me feeling sticky or greasy etc. The scent doesn't bother me, it's pretty faint & it's not gross. & It looks like you don't get much in the jar but it does last awhile, I use it everyday & it'll last me over a month since a little goes a long way. Oh & I have dry to normal 42yr old skin

This gel texture is so much fun. This super light moisturizer feels fantastic and balances out oily skin. It dries down to a matte finish and leaves your face with the right amount of hydration. It seems to lightly tighten the skin, so that tells me that it has true Prickly Pear extract in it. I love this on days when my T zone is overly oily a fre times a week. You will need an SPF with this moisturizer if you are out in the summer sun. The fragrance is light, and dissipates quickly. I personally love the smell, but to be honest I wish there was a fragrance free version available as well. A lot of ppl can not tolerate fragrance, no matter how light. This is definitely a day moisturizer. It's far too light for a night cream alone. However adding a little facial oil over top of it will work as an occlusive, if you'd like the actives (squaline and prickly pear). This will help condition your skin during skin Cell turn over which happens why you sleep ( I use maracuja oil but jojoba or marula oils work fine as well.) I love this moisturizer and the texture is so much fun. It goes on feeling like water and the skin absorbs it quickly leaving you with a matte, oil absorbing finish. Perfect price point too!

This is my summertime go-to. Cooling. Lightweight. I have lost track of how many I have purchased. ELF has wonderful products, and their price is unbeatable!

I have combination skin, so oily if I don't moisturizer and get oily easily in the summer or depending on the other factors but other times really dry especially in my t-zone. THIS is my favorite moisturizer I have ever tried, hands down. It moisturizes well, but isn't too heavy. Soaks in really fast. Doesn't make me overcompensate with oil later. Sometimes I double layer in the winter just because it isn't the richest and in the winter I need extra moisture that this doesn't always provide. But it is one of the only moisturizers that hasn't broken my sensitive skin out. It smells good and has fragrance, so do know that. I deducted a star because I don't know why but within the last year or two they've downgraded the quality of the container. It's now this awful, hard plastic with jagged and unsanded edges on the bottom of the container. I have a container from two or three years ago of this product and it is this heavy, smooth higher quality plastic/material. It honestly really irritates me to the point that if I buy a new container, I scoop the product into the higher quality one I've kept. Not a deal breaker enough to make me switch, but i just really disappointing to me.

I've been using this gel for over 2 years, and it is amazing. It feels wonderful on your skin, has great ingredients and for the quality, the price is great!

I am in my late 50's and normally use a gel-cream for my combination skin. (at a higher price point than this) I was very curious to try this gel even though I have very sensitive skin and have to be careful what I use. I figured, "why not?" It's so inexpensive that I wasn't too worried if I ended up pitching it. I have to say, I was very surprised at how much I liked this. It does have a mild scent so was a bit nervous about that in the beginning. It feels amazing once applied- so cooling and no burning or irritation at all. It left my skin perfectly moisturized with no oily feeling whatsoever. Considering the price and that it's a drugstore brand, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again!

I love it! It is really a holly hydration. It hydrates my dry skins immediately. It is not expensive which is a plus. Doesn’t have fragrance at all.

I love the cool feeling after applying this gel moisturizer. But 30 minutes later my face feels dry - not typical for my skin. I've found other moisturizer gels in the same price range that have that refreshing cool feeling, but are also a lasting & effective moisturizer (Ponds is one example).

I love this. I have combination dry/oily sensitive skin that loves moisture but breaks out under heavy products and needed something very lightweight, but moisturising that is also non-comedogenic. This is perfect. I layer it over vitamin c serum, niacinamide and a lightweight spf during the day, and over retinol at night. I've literally had no spots since starting to use it at the beginning of the summer. Now on second jar. Praying it offers enough hydration through the winter.
