Canine Satiety Support 6Kg

I was very sceptical about this product. It was recommended by my vet for my 14 year old saluki/whippet who had increased a little too much around her girth. She has lost weight slowly but surely, appears satisfied, though I do feed her a little wet food mixed in as well. She is certainly a happier girl, and as it has additives to protect the joints, an added bonus. Her toilet has been more frequent, but solid. ( Sorry). I've just ordered my second bag, the first bag lasted me nearly 7 weeks. Most certainly stay with this for the remainder of her life.

Our vet recommended we should switch from Royal Canin Light to Satiety after our neutered 5 year old Lhasa Apso kept gaining weight, despite a sensible diet (no unhealthy non-canine treats) and our long daily walks (up to 4 miles!). I can ony say that this food seems to be doing the trick, and after less than 2 weeks and no other changes to his diet, he has already lost some of those extra pounds. The kibble pieces are small, and although he wasn't too keen on it at first (I had to add bits of chicken or tuna) he has now adapted and happily eats every meal without any extras. Very relieved that it appears to be working!

a good quality product

Great quality product, we use for our overweight pooch trying to get her weight down and the measurement guide is really clear. Its a good price, delivery was much quicker than it stated too which was good. Will be ordering again.

This dog food was recommended by a vet, and iteally helps slim down an overweight dog (as long as you stick to the recommended amount). The good news is also the fact that the dog finds it tasty. Buying online from Amazon was much cheaper than the price the vets wanted to charge.

I have been ordering this product for several months now. It was prescribed by my vet to maintain my dogs weight. It works, she is completely satisfied and has remained at her target weight for over a year. I have never had a problem with delivery and it arrives apx 2 days after ordering. It is also around £10 cheaper per 6kg bag than buying at the vets.

Was very disappointed with the size

From a veterinary point of view this is a well balanced product very useful to help control weight in neutered dogs with obesity problems. The animal in question must be monitored every so often by a vet with regular weight checks and assessment of general well being. Adjustment of strictly controlled daily weighed amounts of biscuits (for divided meals) can accurately control weight gain or loss. This diet has worked extremely well for my neutered bitch..

Lo compré para mi perrita que está pasadita de peso. Hace un mes aproximadamente que está usandolo y se nota mucho que ha perdido peso. Lo único que al parecer no le sacia mucho y cuando llega la hora de comer está muerta de hambre.
