🐾 A Tough, Beloved Favourite That’s Puppy-Proof! 🐾
I originally purchased the goDog Bubble Plush Dragon in Periwinkle (affectionately now known as "Dragon") over a year ago for my puppy when she was just 4.5 months old, and it’s been a standout favourite ever since. It was perfect for her while she was teething, and from the start, she seemed to adore the vibrant colour and lightweight feel, making it perfect for play and carrying around. Before my initial purchase, I had just learned that dogs are colour-blind and primarily perceive shades of blue and yellow. So I'd gone on the hunt for a vibrant blue new toy and specifically chose the periwinkle version of this dragon - and the difference was noticeable immediately. She absolutely loved it! Since then, I’ve recommended this dragon (in this specific colour) to so many other dog parents, and they’ve all had similar success. This toy has proven to be incredibly durable. My dog’s other favourite toy is a stuffed hippopotamus (we are on to number 3 now), but she tears through those in no time - tail first, then limbs, and finally disembowelling it to pull out the stuffing (photo included). This dragon, on the other hand, has no stuffing to worry about, giving me peace of mind even if she ever managed to break through (which she hasn’t!). Its Chew Guard Technology has kept it going strong despite her constant chewing. After more than a year of daily play, some threads on the front have started to pull away, but these seem to be purely decorative and don’t affect the toy’s functionality. The only reason I bought a backup is because I machine-washed (and accidentally dried) the original a few times, which caused the squeaker to stop working. Otherwise, the first one would still be in great shape! A quick tip: The large size is perfect for my medium-sized cockapoo. Don't make the same mistake I made when trying to replace her original and accidentally buy the comically small version. It looked more like a toy for the original Dragon toy than for my dog haha

Excellent quality toy tough and tactile
Excellent quality toy tough and tactile.Gordon is a Frenchie and loves to demolish toys as soon as he is given them always seeking out a vunerable point then exploiting it to rip the toy to shreds. BUT NOT IN THIS CASE ...the material is double lined to allow chewing without it tearing. The material is very tactile and he latched straight away on to the trunk as a comforter. There is limited stuffing which is good and I especially like that instead of a general squeaker the tummy has a full size ball so not so easily damaged .Cellophane in the ears and legs give a loud crinkling sound and a couple of traditional squeakers in other parts of body.No toy is indestructable but this is by far the best I've found so far and at an excellent price .A+++++

Not for chewers
Sorry, 10 mins in and tail and one wing are off...this is not for chewers and will stick to Kong going forward!

The dogs love it!
I gave this to my dogs at lunchtime. They enjoyed friendly squabbling over it most of the day. One likes the crinkly tail noise, one likes to carry it and sometimes squeak it. However, in the evening, the collie decided to have a long squeak session, then chew ( unusual as he normally likes balls). After a few minutes he had put a small hole in it. It is more durable than all other toys I have had, but it may not last .....

Very cute and puppy loves it
Very cute dragon and my almost 5 month puppy loves it. She's a wheaten terrier, very bitey atm. Toy seems pretty robust and can handle her trying to chew it up. I thought it was blue and red from the pics, but it's actually blue and pink, I guess it doesn't matter but I generally don't like pink. It's crinkly and has a squeaker, she seems in love :)

No good for a heavy chewer
Nice looking product and I recognise the seller is clear this isn’t completely chew proof but it lasted 10mins with my Labrador. This is no different to any other cheap off the shelf toy. I had hoped he might get a day or so out of it. At least it has less stuffing to pick up and stop him swallowing.

Great sturdy soft toy with a pleasant squeaker
My dog absolutely loves this toy, she’s been carrying it around, squeaking away, since I gave it to her last night; the best part is the squeak is way less irritating than the webbox ball that was her previous “carry around, squeaking away” toy, so I no longer want to pierce my own eardrums!

Good Toy. Has lasted so far with our Bulldog!
We brought this for our Olde Tyme Bulldog for his 2nd Birthday. He isn't normally a chewer but does chew on cuddly toys. However so far this toy has lasted several months. At first he found the squeaking/grunting a little weird and didn't play with it but the more we played with it the more interested he became. While he has chewed the Two little horns off on his head, the rest of the toy has stayed intact despite the fact he throws it around the room & carries it round constantly squeaking it. He hasn't even attempted to chew anything else on the toy, only the horns since they aren't filled or supported/strengthened but just little pieces of material :) Overall this toy has been a success and I would definitely buy another when this eventually gets chewed up or too old. Would recommend to people with dogs as it is a fun toy & being a dinosaur is different!

Our Staffordshire bull terrier loved the toy! But even tough the fabric is really tough the seam broke within the first 20 minutes of play. However, I have other toys from this company though, that have held up for almost 5 months. So maybe just a bad copy I received.

I purchased the Dino Bruto Dog toy for my labradoodle who is quite fond of squeaky, squawky stuffed toys and oddly enough has shown a preference for purple. I opened the package with my hound standing by waiting for his gift. I detached the tags and attempted to squeak the toy. It seemed difficult to squeak or honk. I tossed the purple Dino Bruto to my dog who excitedly chomped to squeak. The toy squawked a couple times and then just quit. My poor hound was staring up at me with that "what's up with this" look on his face. I tracked down the website for the GoDog toys, not going through the Amazon return process. I called the good people at GoDog and stated simply that my dog's favorite part of the toy failed quite quickly and I was wondering about guarantees. I was told to go to the website and file a replacement request. The replacement request required that I include a photo which I did as directed. I received an reply email within a couple hours which stated that a new toy would be sent out shortly. I am happy to report that we received a replacement toy, not the purple Dino, but a colorful wood duck. The squawker device works well and is still performing like new more than a month later. It appears that the squeaker is not those little plastic squeakers but the bigger heavy plastic bag, bladder, with what I visualize as a duck call sort of sound device. I am guessing because I haven't seen the inside of the GoDog toys. I have seen the guts of other stuffed toys which use this type of noise device. While our dog seems to enjoy the sound of the plastic bag, bladder set-up squawkers, they seem to fail quickly and I tend to avoid them because of this. The toys using this type of squawker that I have seen, use what looks like a cheap lightweight plastic bag which is not securely attached to the "voice box". Since the GoDog replacement toy is holding up so well, I am guessing GoDog uses a heavier grade plastic bladder coupled with reinforced construction. The purple Dino Bruto toy still looks new even after multiple times of our hound grabbing the purple toy, shaking it at us with his invite to give chase or play keep away. Since the squawker failed so quickly with the new toy, I figure it was just a defective item which does not reflect the general quality of toys from GoDog. One evening our neighbor was visiting while his pitbull was playing in our yard with our dog. Our patio door was open so our dog ran into the house and grabbed his purple Dino Bruto toy. He is a bit of a show-off with new toys. Our dog then went racing back into the yard, shaking his GoDog toy at the pitbull. A quick game of tug-of-war ensued. Since this is a new toy, our neighbor leaped into the game and took the toy away from the dogs. In that short time of tugging between the dogs, the toy held together and did not even pull apart at any of the seams. There were no puncture marks either. This is a game our dog has initiated before with the neighbor pitbull. Normally, the stuffed toys are ripped apart almost immediately. I was surprised and impressed with the quality of the sewing which appears to employ some sort of reinforced construction or heavier material. I plan to make more purchases from GoDog toys. The toys are a little more expensive than some stuffed dogs toys but they hold up so well I figure they are worth a few more dollars. They are great toys that hold up well and the company provides quick responses to inquiries. I consider this a winning combination.
