A great quality product if you're on a budget
Overall very happy with the system - you pay for what you get. Next time I'd probably go for higher quality and wider field of view - but hey, this was my first experience and you learn. The system I purchased included a 1TB hard drive as I didn't want t have to buy extra bits. That said, extremely happy with the system: I elected to connect it up in my loft - easier to run the cables to the outside cameras and used a wifi extender and connected the DVR via a short ethernet cable. Installation is pretty straightforward - there is a small diagram with the instructions and it is easy to miss! Installed the app on iPhones and Android The instructions say to leave out the password - makes me wonder about security issues from outside 'bad actors'; I 'found' the camera using the search function on the app (rather than following the instructions where I kept getting an error) and it works fine . . . and because there is no password associated with it, presumably anyone with an app could search for the camera and look at the feed. As there is no password involved I guess anyone with the right app could look at my camera. Anyhow, overall am extremely happy and in the future would probably purchase a higher quality cameras with a wider field of view as the system can support 4 cameras PS I had a question about whether I needed to free up space on the 1TB hard drive, posted a question and also found a number for isansco product support; I rang it and it rang out but within 10min a representative from the company called and answered my questions and talked me through the correct recording configuration (basically you just leave it on the factory settings and the hard drive will fill up and then erase the oldest recordings; also don't change the settings for alarm or movement as there is a possibility you could miss some 'action' - just leave it on record all the time and you will be able to see previous recordings). Also said there are higher quality and wider angle cameras coming out later. There you go, had to write this up as I was impressed someone took the time to call me and explain their product

Easy set up
I brought this product after searching for it on amazon. The price was very good compared to other systems out there. However I was not expecting the quality I got. Initially I was going to pay a qualified installer to set it up for me. However when the box arrived and I started looking through the instructions I decided to have a go myself. Within half an hour it was set up and the app installed on my phone. The day and night picture is brilliant, the infa red is particularly good. The system just plugs into your hdmi cable to your tv. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is after a home/work cctv system.

good replacement for an aged box, easy to install an HDD, well priced; but with flaws
Have an aged system made by a USA firm, including their cameras, in a holiday home. The App to this system is outdated (and will not be updated by the manufacturer) making it slow and unreliable, plus the PSU to the main unit failed. Time for an update. I bought the SANSCO version without a HDD, adding a new 2TB HDD from a known and well established manufacturer [The cost increase was marginal when compared to buying the HDD included version]. This enables me to retain the original cameras already in situ. The unit has been tested at home, not the holiday home, thus it has not been fully stress tested. Based upon the tests at home: Good: 1) outside of the HDD, everything is supplied to enable the user to set up the various components 2) with a basic knowledge, the software system is easy to set up 3) being wired, the cameras are powered 24/7 (providing there is no power cut). So lower maintenance and greater reliability 3) the app is workable (used on an Android phone), and definitely better than the original system I have been using. Remote access shows it to be more reliable and robust than my existing system. But see below. 4) it will be usable with my existing cameras, greatly easing my installation Not so good: 1) as is usual with a cabled system, running the cables between the box and the cameras will be the biggest pain. This isn't a consideration in my situation, but unless you have the will and desire to run the cables a better solution may be a wifi driven system (there are plenty of good ones on Amazon) 2) the included cameras are merely acceptable at detecting movement (although this may be an issue with the control box - to be fully tested when attached to the intended system) 3) the included cameras are cheaply constructed and I have little expectation that they will survive outside for long. But this is a reflection of the budget price, so I don't intend to be critical. But if you intend to place these in a hostile environment expect to be replacing them soon. They should be fine if used indoors e.g. house, garage, outbuilding. My existing cameras give a good picture and have proven to be reliable, hence they will be retained, but their price point was much higher than these. 4) the App, which works much better than the aged, existing, system, is of a poor design. It is also greatly inferior to the wifi system I use. Notifications are less noticeable, you have to use several screens to see the notification and then access the playback screen, plus the playback takes you to the first notification on any given day for the camera you wish to review but takes a laborious swiping of the screen to reach the desired clip (if the clip has been generated late in the day). This review has been written in 2025, the App looks like something from the 2010's. 5) the software on the box looks dated (akin to my original system). However, it serves it's purpose and you will rarely need to access it I accept that attaching this to my existing system may reveal issues. However, based upon the test experience, especially for a low cost system, I'm confident that it will satisfy my purposes as I am only interested in the box, less so the cameras. It will be interesting to see how much difference (if any) attaching the box to better cameras makes. The flaws in the App are an irritation rather than a showstopper.

It's budget CCTV
I got this for two reasons, it's price, and remote viewing of the system didn't have a subscription cost. There's a couple of key points about the kit, the cameras are analogue signal, so they're not producing very good picture quality. They are light and pretty easy to install, though beyond 15 meters they're nigh on pointless, but seeing as hardly any CCTV is used to watch the horizon or observe other worlds, it's fine for say a driveway at the front of the house. A note on the night vision mode, it's actually quite good and does give about 15 meters of illumination for a low energy camera. Yes - it will attract bugs, but not so much as you can't see anything else, unless it's a spider (see below) On that note, I would recommend having some vicks vaporub handy to smear on the camera body or you'll be frequently looking at a spider and/or it's web. The actual software management of the system is rudimentary, it's astonishingly oversensitive (leaves blowing across the driveway, rain, light changes from the sun, all set the alert off). You can mitigate some of this, but if you want notifications, you'll be getting a lot of them. The system supports facial recognition, but that's not useful if the camera is more than 2 meters from the individual viewing it. Also, the vehicle recognition and the systems general discrimination for people, or "Human detection" isn't too good. I like that it thinks cats are people, but they aint. Overall, it's not a bad product, if you just have it facing and recording one area and you have the need to check footage now and then, it's great. One terabyte of storage gives about a month on two cameras. I'm still seeing after a 6 weeks if the unit is performing consistently - seems so.

Very good for the price
Unit works well. Picture quality is ok. Very good for the price. 12 volt Y cord splitter was damaged on arrival, female socket was crushed so I had to buy a new one on Amazon (later refunded)
