ER doc seal of approval
I am a retired "ER doc." These clips are a good temporizing measure for most nosebleeds. Most nosebleeds will stop after 15-20 minutes of pressure. If you are on blood thinners or if the bleeding is deep in the nose (a "posterior bleed") this product may not work for you. Pro tip: do not check for bleeding every few minutes. If you take the clip off after just a couple minutes, the bleeding may well start up again. Give it at least 15 minutes before checking. If you continue to have bleeding, or if you feel blood dripping down the back of your throat despite the clip, call your doctor or seek medical attention.

These help stop nose bleeds
My husband has had some severe nosebleeds that have lasted longer than a 1/2 hour. Trying to pinch your nose hard enough & long enough to stop the bleeding led to cramping hand muscles. The ER used something similar to stop the bleeding. This was helpful to learn. We bought some for home & the car & a travel bag, just in case of a reoccurrence. The ER told us to come back if we could not stop a nosebleed in 1/2 hour.

GREAT GREAT!! Really helped stop my nosebleed quickly and leaving my hands free until it stopped!

Good but not great
This is a good design and comfortable to wear. The pads on them are just the right amount of squishiness and firmness, but they're a little slick. If your skin/nose is at all wet or oily, and/or if you have a plug in your nostril, it will slide off really easily. I'm ordering some with different nose pads to see if they stay on better.

Helpful option and saves using your hand to do the job!
I love these clips. They’ve saved me from having to sit and hold my nose during heavy nosebleeds. The clamp is tight enough to stay in place (most of the time) and provides the pressure needed to stop the bleed. Simple, effective, and so helpful to have on hand.

YOU WON’T BLEED TO DEATH
Thank goodness for help. Had a gusher, put in packing, ice pack and clipped this on. Worked great. Keep one handy in travel, car, med cabinet. Needs proper placement.
