I have been using this great little Brother Label Maker to help me better organize my storage items. I recently used it to label all my the storage boxes for my Christmas decorations as well as my art supplies boxes. I create labels of each item in the box for all four sides so that no matter which direction the box gets put back on the shelf, I can still see the labels and easily know what's in there at a glance. It's been fairly easy to use as well. I feel the tape is a bit pricey, but overall I am very happy with this purchase and the quality of the resulting labels. I also like that it offers you a good variety of font sizes and style options to suit your labeling needs. It's been helpful to have the option of using either batteries or a plug. I have found that using it with batteries is easier, but if they were to run out unexpectedly, you could always just plug it in. The batteries have lasted a fairly long time too; longer than I had expected. I definitely feel I can recommend this label maker.

I love this thing! I’m a professional organizer and my clients think it’s the coolest thing when I pull this out. Not a huge fan of the waste of tape, but I buy a cheaper comparable brand and print multiple labels at once to save what tape I can and then manually cut between each label.

Amazing! I have loved having this label maker. It’s very user friendly, and changing the tape was very easy. The fonts are all so cute, and I love the versatility! Would buy again!

I purchased the Brother P-touch D-210sv, with storage case and two sample cartridges, to print labels for nail polish swatches using a genuine Brother 3/8” black on clear cartridge (purchased separately). The device is lightweight and easy to use, powered by six AAA batteries or the included plug. Cartridges are easy to install. Just click it into place and it’s ready to go. There are several fonts to choose from, as well as many symbols and frames. Printing was solid and clear, and the labels were easy to peal and place. As another reviewer pointed out, there is a fair amount of waste at the beginning of each print, even with the narrowest margin, if printing and cutting labels individually (first photo). However, the chain print option eliminates this waste (second photo). With the chain print setting each label is printed close together, and you cut the strip from the label maker only when you have finished printing every label. You can change the text before printing the next label by pressing “escape,” clearing the text, and retyping. Full instructions are in the included user guide, but if you’re a visual learner like me there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube showing how to use this function. I will say including sample cartridges instead of full ones is sort of ridiculous. I can’t imaging the samples are any cheaper to produce than the full cartridges since the casing of both is the same with the only difference being the amount of tape inside. Genuine Brother replacement cartridges are pretty pricey. I paid about $15 for just one 3/8” black on clear cartridge. Get to know the chain print function so you don’t have to change the cartridge as often.

Great label maker. Makes easy to read labels that are easy to apply. As other reviews stated the only draw bake is it does waste tape due to where printer and cutter cuts. Other than that it's great.

This p-touch label maker is easy to operate and doesn’t have a lot of complicated commands to do what you need it to do. It’s output is clean and doesn’t smear. It’s easy to change the font size and type. You can change the margin of what is printed to the tape so that wasting of tape is kept to a minimum. Overall, this machine is well thought out and operates, simply. The one feature that it doesn’t have, which would be nice would be for it to maintain its font size and margin settings in memory after the unit is turned off. While it doesn’t require batteries, it can use them, and for short term storage, they save the text that’s on the screen. It would be nice if font type, size, margin and other settings could be backed up by the battery when the unit is turned off but these are quite easily changed. Other than that, I think this brother p-touch label printer is a fantastic, easy to use, high quality device that many would find useful in many home and professional applications. A very useful, easy to use, handy device.
