At first I did NOT like this mascara because it was so clumpy. Then, I tried scraping the brush all the way around the top of the opening to remove the caked on mascara. GREAT brush shape! Just scrape the brush a lot at first till the bottle becomes less full. GREAT mascara for $5 and some change! Love how they make my lashes look! You can do subtle to super thick!

I decided to try this mascara a couple years ago and honestly haven’t stopped buying it since. For the price, you really can’t beat it. It gives great volume and length without needing a bunch of coats, and it doesn’t get clumpy. I also had no issues with smudging or flaking, even wearing under-eye liner, which is usually where mascaras fail on me. I’ve recommended this to a lot of people and still do. Overall, just a really good everyday mascara.

I received the essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara in the brown shade, and I’ve been really impressed—especially for the price point. First, the color is what makes this stand out. The brown (black-brown) shade gives a much softer, more natural look than traditional black mascara, which is perfect for everyday wear. It still defines and enhances lashes, but without looking too harsh. It’s especially flattering in natural light. The brush is a conical fiber wand, which helps coat each lash evenly while adding noticeable length and volume. I found it easy to build—one coat gives a natural look, and two coats create more of that “false lash” effect the name promises. (essence makeup) Formula-wise, it goes on smoothly and doesn’t feel heavy. I didn’t experience much flaking throughout the day, though like most volumizing mascaras, you do need to be a little careful to avoid clumping if you apply multiple coats quickly. Once it dries, it holds well and keeps lashes lifted. I also really appreciate that it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and free from parabens, which is a big plus for a drugstore mascara. Overall, this is a fantastic everyday mascara if you want length and volume with a softer, more natural finish. It performs well above its price range and is a great option if black mascara feels too intense.

Honestly really good for the price. The brown shade is gorgeous and the length is there from the start. My only issues are that you need a few coats to get any volume and it starts to clump when you layer it. It also dries out my lashes a little with regular use. Still a repurchase for me though.

First time user. I have used L'Oreal forever. It's been about 6 weeks and I am happy. You definitely don't want to load the brush heavy. It coats really well with a lite coat. Clean up: I user Garnier mineral whatever make up remover for waterproof make up and it works great. When I first started I was heavy on the application and would end up with 'Looks like you had a night" black under eye smudge. Once I figured out the right balance it comes off easy with no remaining.

This is a cheap mascara that I swear on! Im a dog groomer, and the water proof mascara stays on all day, even after hours of getting splashed by dogs! I get alot of compliments on how long it makes my lashes look. The only downside is it dries kinda fast in tube and is prone to clumping if you apply it too much

Love this product. These mascaras make your lashes bold and long. When you are done they make your lashes look like you just walked off a runway. It is surprisingly not expensive at all for the quality. Get it you will never change.

Four stars because it is a decent mascara for the price! I'm very fair, so I try to use brownish mascaras rather than black. I like the color, but it is difficult to achieve the look I want without a lot of clumping. I have seen others use this brand without clumped lashes, so maybe it's something I'm doing. Overall, it's a decent mascara for the price, but I'm not sure that I would purchase it again. I haven't noticed any flaking, but it does smudge when you first put it on.

Bellissimo mascara: già con una sola applicazione le ciglia appaiono visibilmente più lunghe. Il colore viola è presente, ma non eccessivo, lasciando dunque un effetto che risulta naturale ed elegante, seppur con un colore originale. Suggerisco di utilizzare prima il primer della stessa linea per una resa ancora migliore.
