Great scope for the price.
I recently purchased this microscope and was excited to get started using it. However, when it arrived, I noticed that the stand included in the package wasn’t the correct one. At first, I was a little disappointed, but I reached out to the seller, and they more than accommodated for the mistake. Their customer service was outstanding — they responded quickly, apologized for the mix-up, and immediately sent the correct stand without any hassle. Mistakes happen, but how a company handles them makes all the difference. In this case, they went above and beyond to make it right. The microscope itself works great and meets all my expectations. Clear optics, easy setup (once I had the correct stand!), and a solid build. I’m very happy with my purchase and would absolutely buy from this seller again.

High value, good purchase.
The Cainda is a well made product with good instructions. Controls are logical. Worked perfectly with Windows 10 Camera feature. I purchased the Cainda for looking at stereo turntable cartridges and styluses. For the stylus views, I was initially not able to see the form of an elliptical stylus. O may second attempt, I had much better luck. There is a learning curve in getting a good image, but a little effort will return good results. On my second attempt I was able to see a stylus shape fairly clearly (just barely enough magnification), and look forward to further developing my technique. Quick hint: place a piece of white paper on the surface of the base. The bead blasted aluminum base is reflective enough that the microscope's light reflects from it, significantly degrading image quality. Recommended.

Good Value, good quality
I Ordered this microscope on Dec 24th and received it on Dec 30th, It arrived well packed and in good shape. I took my time before I wrote this review, to give it a fair shake. First of all, the metal stand is well constructed. The base is heavy enough to keep the camera stable during use. It has large rubber feet that keeps it from moving while in use. The adjustable stand has a smooth operation and the camera mount is capable of firmly holding the camera. The camera is constructed out of plastic. Personally I would have preferred a metal alloy construction but the overall construction is well made. On one side it has a power switch that doubles as a shutter button, a rotary dial for dimmer control of the LED lights. On the other side it has an up/down button to control digital zoom(which only works over the WiFi connection). The manual zoom dial takes up the lower half of the camera and has a smooth operation. The image quality if good and is a true 1080p image. The software provided can display in higher resolutions, but the data is interpolated and does not depict the true resolution. I tested the camera with A Windows based PC, a Chrome book and an Android phone. The android phone was the only devise that works with the WiFi feature of the camera. I found that during use, there is a data lag due to the WiFi connection that made it unsuitable for shooting videos but worked fine for basic magnification and taking stills. The best option for me is using the camera with the USB connection hooked to a PC or Chrome book, since my main use is for surface mount soldering and inspection. So for me there is little gain in the WiFi feature. The software that you can download for the PC is basic but functional. I do like the android version better because of the digital zoom feature. Overall I would say it is a good buy for the price and offers features of more expensive cameras.

Great microscope for hobbies
I use this to take pictures of stamps and things in my collection. It is very easy to use, one click and it comes on after you get the software installed. If i had to choose one thing that could work better it would be the suction cup that holds it to the base. I have had it come loose a couple of times once it fell all the way to the floor because it came loose out of nowhere. But the microscope is fine still and now i make sure it isn't where it can fall again. Its so easy to use just make sure you have your file set to where you can find the pictures. I have mine set to upload straight to Onedrive. I also love the fact that I can study spore prints under this microscope. I didn't realize until now that I could refocus this microscope at a way higher resolution than when it first comes into focus. If you will just keep adjusting it after it goes out of focus it will eventually focus again but at a lot higher of a resolution. I give this microscope a very high rating it is very useful for the price. I didn't expect it to be as good as it is or as easy to use the install was very easy and once linked to my cloud account it uploads every shot automatically.

Easy to use, nice camera, very cheap construction
Well I've had it for a year and a half almost and it worked pretty well! The camera is fairly nice and easy to use on a computer. I never got it to work on a phone, which is what I wanted it for the most. Today the USB plug just fell in. It was a pretty flimsy connection from the start and I guess it just gave way. I didn't use it much, so I would estimate this is the 30th time I plugged it in. The base construction is ok, but it doesn't really go together in a way that makes you think it was designed right. The clamp around the device when you use the base blocks you from some of the buttons and controls if you are not careful...

Love This Thing.
I made an easy sale for Amazon. I texted this photo of a baby pepper plant emerging from its seed to a friend, along with a link to the microscope's Amazon page. She texted back in 3 minutes to tell me she bought it. 2024 Update: I have been happily using the microscope for about four years. I prefer to use it with my desktop computer through a USB cable -- much better than using it through its WiFi connection to my phone. The high resolution images look large, sharp and beautiful on my 24 inch, 1920x1080 pixel desktop monitor. The microscope stand works pretty well, though I added a "Supereyes" X-Y gliding table to it so that I can more accurately adjust the position of whatever I am looking at. The gliding table is helpful but cost more than the microscope! NOTE: Some USB cables you may have received with other products are for charging only and do not carry data. They won't work with this microscope. The seller warns you about that on the Amazon listing page. You can't tell if you have a charging only USB cable by looking at it. So if your computer does not recognize the microscope when you plug it in, you may be using a charging only USB cable. Try another USB cable.

Very portable; handy to use with your phone or tablet; some reflection issues.
This microscope is useful if you use when you travel. It gives good magnification and the image can be displayed on your computer, phone, or tablet. The only downside for work with circuit boards is the led illumination gives unwanted reflections. If you are used to using microscopes with ring lights, you will quickly see these are much better. This is a common problem with microscopes in this class. I have set up additional side lights to help the view-ability. In the low cost arena (<$50); this is one of the best I have found. The next step up are the 38 Megapixel units equipped with a better stand and a good ring light, but these can easily run you $150. The advantage of all these units is the ability to display the image on a large monitor. I like that feature very much. I recommended this to a circuit board maker for use in displaying then quality of a product to a current or potential customer. They set up the display on a large screen TV using the $150 unit that you can typically find on AliExpress out of China. For my day to day SMD assembly, I still prefer my stereo optical microscope. More expensive, but hard to beat.

Excellent Image Magnification on both Phone & PC
Excellent microscope. Clear with good focus and extensive ability to magnify images. Great for looking at circuits, bugs, dirt on remote controls, etc. Really like the ability to connect to PC and get a much larger image than what is on my Samsung S7 Edge phone. Good ability to capture images, make movies, and capture images at timed intervals. Everything works well although there were some minor App issues like misspellings and translation issues. And whenever you select anything in the phone App, it “chirps” with no way to turn it off. Annoying, but the manufacturer told me they would fix these minor problems in the next update. Also, the phone App crashes when trying to send an image or movie via e-mail or text. Images or movies are saved in your standard phone gallery so you can instead send via e-mail or text from there. Note that with phone use, you must connect to a separate App Wi-Fi network to use the microscope. In doing this, you must disconnect your usual Wi-Fi network, which removes your internet access. I didn’t view this as a big issue, just be aware of it. I didn't think the minor issues described above should lower the rating of the product, so I rated this a top-notch product.
