Can you patched tear holes on white polo shirt

This should be OK as long as there are no big holes in the fabric.

Would I be able to use this to pull together a tear in a fleece or would the iron need to be too hot and melt the fleece? Thank you

The fleece would definitely melt! Best to sew a patch on at the back to pull the tear together. Good luck!

No it won’t if you still have the letters/logo you need a double sided bonding agent called Heat ‘n’ bond or bond a web.

Will this repair an inch tear in the underneath of a mattress?s

It depends on the underside fabric and weight of the mattress. I’d have thought it might not be strong enough, you’d probably need something much thicker and with more adhesive if you want the patch to stay put? Just a word of warning… make sure to protect the check suitability of fabric if ironing on a patch. I once tried to repair a mattress protector and melted the material around it whilst applying the patch ☹️
