Stationery Island Dunbar Drafting Table for Arts and Crafts

Had no problems assembling it, it seems well thought out including the bolts which are slightly tapered to make everything align well and firmly. The desk top can be easily tilted and dropped back, other than its a fairly heavy piece of glass. There are a couple of niggles maybe, I don't think I want to drop to 4 stars because of the price. I've seen complaints about the trays, I'm ok with them but it should be possible make some mods. The bolt-on L section aluminium plate is annoying when the table top isn't tilted up (I'm temped to modify it to unclip as some of these desks seem to). Also small things can roll down and drop into the gap between the aluminium and the glass top. Pencils won't, but my watercolour brushes will (again, bodgable but it's a shame to have to) The two drawers come too close to the centre to sit comfortable sat in the middle of the desk, but only just so it's fine seated slightly to the left. For small work it's fine, but for something that fills the tabletop it wouldn't be. If you have room you could just bolt the drawers so the that they stick out to the side a bit rather than purely under the desk. Basically it's very good, with a couple of little could be betters. For the price I'm very happy, I've seen very similar (maybe identical) items for 40-50% more and if I'd paid that I might not be quite so happy.

Very asy to assemble (even for me, not too keen on assembling any kind of furniture). Clear instructions. One of the trays was broken but I don't need it anyway. It takes a bit of space, so I bought some furniture raisers for my dinning table and put it under when not in use. I only assembled trays on one side, and ditched the drawers. The tools included won't do to screw in the desk stopers but that's the only thing. If I could change anything it would be having height adjustment options, it's a wonderful desk regardless. It looks good and feels sturdy. Exceeded my expectations, specially considering the price. Recommend.

Very sturdy table. Great size for extra large diamond paintings. Holders on sides are really useful.Easy to put together. Only concerns are drawer does get in the way when working on right side of work so I took it off. Other concerns is bit awkward to put angle up and down you have to do it from behind table. As on castors which move very smoothly it is easily moved though to get behind. Would definitely recommend it just don't put drawers on when putting together.

Great product for drawing, the drawers are a bit unsubstantal but great for artist as they can be removed for cleanin. But over all a 10 out of 10.

Great value for money, very sturdy and easy to assemble with instructions. Delivery was quick from seller. Very happy with this item and would recommend it to any artist or technical drawer, plenty of space for big drawings or paintings.

Excellent, I really like it, sturdy and very modern

This desk/art glass table is not bad for the price. It is very sturdy and strong for my needs with no wobbling etc. The tilt mechanism is no problem though after assembly, do add a small drop of light oil or grease. The only criticism I can make is that the screw bolts are too soft a metal and you can ring the heads of them. The same can be said of the framework. If you over tighten the bolting screws, without realizing, you can dent the frame at the point you are attaching. It does weaken the frame (so far) but it is something to mention for anyone that wants to buy one. The glass top is great to work on, it is flat, no warping, no cracks or chips in it, though it has happened to other orders in these reviews. Mine survived the postal services in one piece thank god. It has a blue tinge and if you attach white LED strips (battery or 12v electric) for under glass lighting, it could make an average lightbox source for tracing, etc.

È stato un problema portarlo su per le scale dato il notevole peso ma alla fine sono riuscita ad arrivare a destinazione. L'ho montato da sola con abbastanza facilità. La postazione è ampia, solida e comodissima grazie alle numerevoli inclinazioni del piano di lavoro. Il fatto che sia di vetro mi permette di comprare delle lucine e posizionarle sotto per poter fare il tavolo luminoso: 2 in 1! Consiglio questo prodotto a tutti i creativi che hanno voglia di comprare un tavolo da disegno di ottima fattura e che alla fin fine non costa una cifra enorme.

Me llegó en muy poco tiempo y en perfecto estado. Había leído que algunos compradores han tenido problemas por falta de algunas piezas o por el mal estado de algunas de ellas. En mi caso todo ha llegado en perfectas condiciones. Tal como se ve en las fotos, todo vino bien embalado y protegido. Eso sí, las instrucciones únicamente están en inglés, pero solo hay que seguir las ilustraciones del manual para montarla sin problemas. La forma de inclinar el tablero es muy cómoda. Lo puedes poner casi en vertical. Luego, para ponerlo en horizontal, solo hay que llevarlo al máximo de altura y volverlo a bajar. También son muy prácticos los cajones, que no llegan a molestar para sentarse, como llegué a temer. Los dos porta útiles laterales también parecen bastante prácticos y se mantienen firmes en su sitio (aunque aún no me ha dado tiempo de darles demasiado uso). Por ponerle algún punto negativo decir que el cristal, aunque parece bastante resistente, se ensucia con demasiada facilidad (marcas de dedos, polvo, virutas de todo tipo... etc.) y refleja demasiado la luz de la lámpara que le coloques encima, cosa bastante lógica dado el material, algo que ya me esperaba. Hubiera preferido que fuera de madera o chapa, pero no las enviaban a Canarias. Además, por este precio tan bajo merecía la pena. Otro punto negativo, en mi opinión, es el tope inferior para el papel. Aunque ya me lo temía por las fotos. No se puede regular en altura y sobresale demasiado, para mi gusto. El filo metálico es molesto al apoyar los brazos. Además, está separado del borde de la mesa medio centímetro aproximadamente, como se puede apreciar en la foto adjunta. Creo que lo voy a quitar y a buscarle otra solución (puede que mediante algún tipo de tope adhesivo que sirva para pegar en cristal y que sujete el papel). Aún así, le doy cinco estrellas por su excelente relación calidad precio y porque sus puntos negativos son fácilmente subsanables o incluso cuestión de gustos.

Table reçue très rapidement. Montage facile grâce à un livret détaillé. Tout est à portée de main pour bien travailler. Je suis très satisfait et je la recommande.

Scrivania come da descrizione. Arrivata il giorno descritto. Facile da montare, ottima per chi a poco spazio, bella come da foto e resistente, ottime le rotelle e le le diciannove inclinazioni del piano che permettono di disegnare comodamente. Decisamente consigliata. L'unico consiglio che posso dare al produttore per migliorarla è di creare dei gommini da mettere agli angoli del vetro per evitare che sbattendo contro qualcosa si possa danneggiare il vetro. Per il resto tutto ok.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix et assez facile à assembler cars toutes les pièces sont clairement indiquées. Les instructions sont en anglais seulement, mais les illustrations sont clair et précises. Le hauteur de la bar à crayon sur le devant me rendait la tâche difficile pour peinture à l'aquarelle car j'utilisais un tableau fin, mais il était facile à enlever.
