I've tried a few different wheel cleaners, but this is bomb! Works great - spray on, wait 30-60 seconds, have at the wheel with my soft brush on my cordless drill and done! Rinse and repeat.

I use this product to clean wheels as the name suggests. It would be great if I could spray it on, rinse it off and be done, but no such luck. I use a sponge to wipe the wheels and the grime comes right off then. I feel this works better than some other cleaners because the sponge always rinses out completely. I have used other brands where the sponge was left with some black in it, but with the Griot's product the sponge rinses right out, even when it was previously dirty from another brand.

Griots rarely disappoints on anything they sell. This wheel cleaner is no exception. Many wheel cleaners claim you simply spray them on and rinse after a couple of minutes with no scrubbing/agitation necessary. I have yet to find ANY product out there that lives up to that claim and I’ve been auto detailing for 25 years. They all seem to require some scrubbing for best results. Griots also requires scrubbing but what I like about this product is that wheel manufacturer BBS gives it their approval. That speaks volumes!!!! Getting the nod from BBS is a big deal.

I only trust Griots Garage products for my Aston Martin. The wheel cleaner works great at removing brake dust and won’t pit or damage your wheels

GREAT PRODUCT

I bought this based on Griot's "rep" but was disappointed. It works, dont get me wrong, but its not as effective as Adams Wheel Cleaner (Not Adams Wheel AND Tire cleaner). It cleans, but the power of the cleaner is just mediocre. Back in the day i used a german brand... Sonax, thats it, which was top notch. Adams is also tops. But you get a lot of volume for the money, and it does work... eventually, with lots of brushing with a nice boars hair brush.

This has been my wheel cleaner for 20+ years now. Performs exceptionally well without being harsh to clear coated wheels yet breaks down reasonable levels of brake dust, etc. Doesn't require excessive amounts of product so a gallon lasts a good while without exceeding shelf life. If you care about your rides and want a very capable wheel cleaner, this is it. They also have a chrome wheel specific cleaner if desired and a heavy duty wheel cleaner if you often let the wheels get away from you, or have high performance brake pads that shed excessively and they're covered in brake dust and road grime.
