The best eco-friendly coffee experience!
If you love coffee, you need one of these. I don't know why, but these very simple coffee-makers make the best coffee outside of Italian bars. Put the water in the bottom, insert the "middle bit" (not visible in the picture), which has the space for the coffee at the top, then put the top on (the bottom bit in the picture), wait for the water to boil and then turn it over so that it's in the position shown. Wait a few minutes and pour your lovely hot, strong coffee. I add mine to frothed milk (I have a hand-frother - ooh er Mrs! I hear Frankie Howerd say). No batteries, no horrible little unrecyclable pods...all you need is coffee, water and gas or an electric hob. Questo, si che e' caffe!

A little bit different
Great coffee pot. Good talking point. Makes lovely coffee. My only criticism is that the handles could be more tightly fitted

Buy one
I love it. It makes one full teacup of fantastic espresso. That's just right for me.

Shoddy quality
Flimsy. Not great quality. Like something I've seen in very cheap street markets. The parts stick a bit and don't come apart/together too easily when preparing the coffee. The lid doesn't properly fit the bottom part for the final stage when you use it as a coffee pot, so it is crooked. I can imagine getting myself burnt trying to make coffee first thing in the morning.I have immediately purchased a more expensive stainless steel one and I'm waiting for delivery. Hopefully better luck!

Neapolitans were popular in Italy until the moka pot was invented in the 1930s and gradually replaced the older Neapolitans. I used moka pots, which produce a different type of coffee (but not espresso) based on steam pressure. The Neapolitan is a fun way to produce great drip coffee. Like all drip devices, automatic and manual, the water is run through the coffee grounds by gravity. The Neapolitan has a metal filter and doesn't require paper filers. I think this produces a richer brew than my various manual drip devices. I make one change in the coffee making procedure differing from the enclosed instructions. Rather than boil the water in the Neapolitan on the stovetop, I boil water in an electric kettle, add the water to the water chamber, flip the coffee chamber from the top to the bottom and let the boiled water drip from the coffee chamber into the coffee chamber. Sounds complicated, but it isn't. Highly recommended. Update. After fiddling with the Neapolitan for some months, I found a simpler and better way to use it from reading online. Don't boil the water on the stovetop with the whole pot assembled and then try to flip the pot. Boil the water separately in a kettle and then pour the water directly into the filter unit (filled with coffee) and place the empty water chamber on top just to keep the liquid warm. After about 4 minutes, you have great coffee.

Wouldn't recommend. Cheap thingy. As warehouse deal ok, but you have to fix it (beat dents out and break edges) and live with a long-term aluminium crafting project I guess. Definitely not worth more than ten euro!

Franchement la qualité laisse à désirer ! Les poignées bougent et elle fuit donc bon...

Product is great, just like the one my nonno would have. Arrived with a large dent though on the edge of one cup though. Contacted seller to resolve and had no reply. Disappointing.

Es nueva pero llegó con un pequeño golpe el cual no afecta su funcionalidad. Es un sistema de extracción muy divertido.
