Best for kittens and weak cats!
This formula does have it's uses for me. For my inside cats, this does not work as well as the other commonly available OTC flea treatment for cats. They do tolerate it better though. They definitely hate the other brand for some reason, but when it gets bad, I end up having to use it anyway. This formula does work and seems to be milder, but a few fleas always seem to be able to resist it. It does kill the vast majority though. Where I found the best use for this is kittens. I hate using the other stuff unless I have to on my older cats. No way will I use it on kittens. I lost one kitten to flea anemia before I realized how bad the issue was. I really didn't know fleas could kill a cat. Apparently kittens and older or sick cats are at the greatest risk. The fleas can suck enough blood to kill them. I learned the hard way. Because of my ignorance, I lost the sweetest kitten I had. After that I used this on the others and fed them some chicken livers daily for about a month or so. This killed 99% of the fleas and I was able to get it under control and save the rest. A good dawn bath and flea combing will get rid of the fleas on them if you do it right. After they dry off good, give it 24 hours for the skin to get some oil back, use this. You should be good for about a month. One month later, no sooner, you can reapply this if needed. I recommend this for kittens under 6 months and not anything else. I know the other stuff I use is too strong. Dawn baths also work, but you have to do it good, start at the neck and go down. Use a flea comb and take your time. Unless they are moved from their current environment or the area is treated, they will get fleas again. You need this to kill 99% of them to prevent flea anemia. The best thing to do is move them to an area where there aren't any fleas if you can. Bathe and treat them first though, to prevent any unwanted guests tagging along! I take care of 30 abandoned cats and gave never had any issues using this. I have had issues with the other leading brand, nothing life threatening, just discomfort and drooling. This is your safest and best bet for vulnerable cats like kittens, seniors and ill ones.

Apex Plus for cats worked for us!
This Apex Plus 6-pack is a great deal! After researching, I decided on this one because it kills fleas at all stages including eggs ("Plus"), as well as ticks. We have a barn cat who now comes inside our house, who had a tick in his chin last month. A day after applying this, the tick was shriveled and combed right off. I hope it works all year. I was nervous about our cat having a bad reaction, but he was and still is fine. Just be sure read the directions and put it on the skin (separate the hairs till you see skin) behind the neck between the "shoulders" where cats can't lick.

Inconsistent amount of flea treatment
I will not buy this product again. I purchased three boxes of 6 tubes each. The amount of flea treatment in each tube varies from box to box and tube to tube. One tube nothing came out. I'm not sure how that happens with proper quality control. There is no phone or email contact information except for a mailing address in Omaha, Nebraska.

As good as the name brand.
Been using this flea and tick prevention for last two years now I buy the same brand for my dogs and have never had a problem with sensitivity. Never had a problem with irritation to skin. Never seen any vomiting after no side effects Iโve ever seen and itโs a great product for the price. I used to be a veterinarian technician, and the stuff is as good as the name brand.

It did not do a good job.
I thought I would try this on our in door out door cat. At first I thought it was working and then I noticed she was scratching under her chin and by her ears. So that wasn't even a week since I put it on her. With everything going up aka gas and groceries, I thought I would give this I try. Well cheaper isn't always better. The good thing is it does not have an odor when I put it on her. It was easy to apply but you do have to cut the tube open, it does not snap off. The box and the package came in good shape and it was delivered on time. To bad I couldn't give it a better review.
