Brilliant, but…actually, there’s no real “but”.
As an audiophile who needed something “quick and reliable”, I’ve been through various wireless mic options, and none fit the bill, until the DJI Mic 2 came along… The Good: Bluetooth! Yes, the mics can be “standalone” connected to your bluetooth device. This is utterly brilliant. Is it perfect? No. Is it perfect for the run & gun scenario, filming something for social media? You bet. This includes connectivity to the iPhone’s bluetooth, as it can be connected to the DJI Oslo’s, the Insta 360 X3, etc. This feature puts DJI above the competition - at least for me. 32-bit float: In the ever competitive race with Rode, DJI has now caught up and introduced 32-bit float recording. Is this important for you? That solely depends on your use-case scenarios and whether you’ll be in a reasonably controlled space and/or if the “wearer” understands that sceaming into a microphone will make the sound unusable. 32-bit float is not 100% fail-proof, but it may be the deciding factor between unusable, clipped audio, and audio you can recover in post editing. Size: The size of the DJI, when compared to its appropriate competition, is FAR more desirable. It’s small and compact, relatively inconspicuous, except…did we really have to emboss the DJI logo in brilliant white? C’mon now. That’s a bit much. Although, it’s a solvable issue. The Receiver: The features of the receiving unit, with its jog-dial and touchscreen, is definitely advantageous over the competition, and the included connectors for lightning or USB-C devices, neatly stored inside the transport case, are a great touch. The cold-shoe is now integrated into the receiver and very sturdy. It can be mounted in any direction, giving you visual access to the very legible display. Best yet, the receiver has a small and removable tab, allowing you to connect the supplied dongles. Smart design and well integrated. The Transmitters (mics): Sleek and small. Unfortunately, from the original DJI mic to the Mic 2, DJI desired to become “transparent” and apply the DJI logo in, recessed, font. Well done for the DJI engineering team, but you need to talk with the design and brand team, and have a little jousting battle. I’m rooting for you, engineers. For those who do not want to advertise for DJI, after plopping $349 into their bank account, a bit of gaffer tape will resolve the issue, and improve the looks of the unit. I have not yet tested whether that affects the range, but in case it does, a black marker will neatly cover up the white font. The transmitters do have an option to connect a wired lavalier mic, however, it cannot be screwed in. To me, that’s a non-issue. Unfortunately, the lav mics are a separate purchase, and not all lav mics perform the same. Thus, some testing will be required. The dead-cat/windmuff: DJI was really thinking on their design-feet, and the dead-cat now has an “appendage” which allows it to “mate” with the microphone, creating a solid bond. None of the twist-and-turn action as in prior designs or with the competition. Just go deep into your juvenile fun-cave and bring those two lovebirds together. Voila. Solved. One small contention, though: why is the dead-cat not in the same color as the transmitter (black) but off-gray?! Makes zero sense to me, and no, there’s no way that I have found to change the color. Maybe this will be an aftermarket solution. The transport case: metal housing, a single USB-C connector (more in a sec), a singular carrying pouch with accessories. It’s all well designed and appears to be quite durable. The case recharges both transmitters and the receiver, although I have not yet run into a situation where I’m out of battery on any of the units. Your mileage may vary, and the recharging power is not as strong as Rode’s Wireless Pro. Also, you cannot place the mics into the transport case when the dead-cat is mounted, which was possible on the Rode Wireless Pro. However, opposing to Rode, you have one neat carrying case, and the dead-cats live in there. It’s a minor issue. The “meh”: The sound quality lacks a bit in saturation and “fullness”, when compared to the Rode Wireless Pro. However, this can be fixed in post editing by EQ’ing to your liking. At the same time, this usually only stands out in a side-by-side comparison. Thus, if the listener doesn’t have their ear tuned to comparatives, I suspect that no one would decry the slight lack of bass. Will the metal transport case be affected by moisture, or extreme cold? Only time will tell, and chances that anyone is using the DJI Mic 2 on harsh environments, for long enough, is likely questionable to begin with. The ugly: Nothing. At least not yet. Is it pro grade? No, it is not. It’s upper-level, high-end, YouTube production worthy. Would I recommend this for a feature documentary movie, intended to enter film festivals? Nope. But, I’d say the same for the Rode Wireless Pro. That’s not the use-case for any of these solutions. Can you make do in a pinch and then post-process to compliance? Yes, but it’s still not a “Hollywood” solution for a full film. Then again, there aren’t many of us who do that, so with that being said…. Would I recommend and buy the DJI Mic 2 again? Yes. Absolutely.

I Love DJI!.
I’m using this microphone since February so now I can say everything for sure about it. The DJI Mic 2 microphone is a wireless microphone system designed for content creators. I travel to Brazil constantly, Rio de Janeiro. So I like to record everything. My equipments all them are DJI. My dream is: DJI notices me giving me the opportunity to try the only thing I don’t have as equipment at all, a drone. So I can’t get better videos with the drone Mavic 3. I can record on top of the Favelas in Rio, as a example the one where Snoop Dog recorded his song ”Beautiful”, and the other one where Michael Jackson recorded his song “ They don’t care about us”. This one is the reality of the most people who live inside of those places. Here are some of the main features: 1. Audio Quality: Offers clear and high-quality audio, ideal for video recordings and interviews. 2. Range: It has a good transmission range, allowing you to move freely while recording. 3. Battery: The battery has a good duration, ensuring prolonged recordings without the need for frequent recharging. 4. Compatibility: Works well with multiple cameras, smartphones and other devices, offering flexibility for different recording setups. 5. Portability: It is compact and easy to carry, perfect for those who are always on the move. This microphone is a great option for those looking for professional audio quality in their recordings. With camera DJI 5 pro it connects straight by the internal receiver of the camera so it’s gets a better sound and sing. But with the other cameras or cellphones it connects by Bluetooth. So you won’t have all that mobility because Bluetooth don’t get far distances maximum 10m. So if you want the best quality the this microphone can give you and you are not going to use with the DJI 5 pro, my suggestion is get the combo with the receiver and the microphone. This microphone also has an internal recording, you can control the external sound like wind, just with one click. The microphone has a button just for that. The stability of the connection is perfect. If you have that on Bluetooth it’s good but not as good how the straight connection, like I said with the receiver. It for sure worthy the value you are paying for, and they have 2 colors, black and white, but I chose the black one because it doesn’t get stained dirty. I wish DJI notices me and let me try the Drone DJI Mevic 3!

Excellent!
This kit is fantastic for my purposes. I'm a noob at video making and I was looking for a better way to record voice. Originally I was planning on getting a cheap recorder and lav mic and just record the audio separately and add it in post. I had heard alot of good things about the DGI Mic2 and it seemed like a more versatile option. I took the plunge and bought it and it has well exceeded my expectations. The hardware is top notch. Everything reviewers noted about the ease of use was correct. The menus and controls are very intuitive and super easy to navigate. The charging case is excellent and works very well and keeps everthing organized. The pouch is nice and keeps it all together. The TX's/RX's worked flawlessly and connected instantly to my iPhone and android devices. I had heard something about issues with iPhone connectivity using the native camera app but it connected with no issues on my iPhone. It also connects perfectly into my camera. The system can also connect into various audio equipment using the 3.5mm audio jack which makes the mic system even more versatile. The 32bit float recording directly into the transmitter is an awesome feature and will come in handy. The audio from the on board mic is OK when worn on your chest or clipped to your shirt collar. The audio is best if speaking directly into the transmitter. It is very clear and crisp but most won't use it that way. Another option is to plug in a good wired lav mic into the transmitter. I used an inexpensive Neewer CM5 lav mic and the sound is very good with the mic clipped to my collar. Another option is use a headset mic or the Movo MV-M101 flexible gooseneck mic. The closer you get the mics to you mouth, the better the sound quality. The one and only complaint I have with the Mic2 is that the noise reduction is just ok but not the best. It is easily corrected in post video processing and the results are actually better. For me, the other options and versatility easily made up for it. But if you want better on board NR, the DGI Mic Mini and Mic3 probably have the Mic2 beat. I wanted the external 3.5mm mic connectivity of the Mic2, a feature the other two don't have. All in all, it's a terrific wireless mic system👍

5/5 – Professional audio made easy
I’ve been using the DJI Mic 2 (2 transmitters + 1 receiver + charging case) and it’s honestly one of the best wireless mic setups I’ve tried. The audio quality is clean, clear, and professional, perfect for videos, interviews, vlogs, and social media content. What I really like is how easy it is to use. Pairing is instant, the connection is stable, and the range is solid. The noise cancellation works well, especially in outdoor or noisy environments, and the sound still feels natural. The charging case is a big plus. It keeps everything organized and fully charged, which is super convenient when traveling or recording on the go. Battery life is great—I can record for hours without worrying about it dying mid-shoot. Another great feature is the internal recording on the transmitters, which gives peace of mind in case of signal drop. It works flawlessly with cameras, phones, and other devices. The price is on the higher side, but you’re paying for reliability and quality, and it definitely delivers.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DJI Mic 2 – Professional Quality Made Easy
I’ve tested many wireless microphone systems, and the DJI Mic 2 easily stands out. It’s powerful, reliable, and offers premium audio for a surprisingly fair price. 🔧 Build Quality The construction is solid and premium, with strong clips and magnetic mounts that hold securely. The charging case doubles as a storage box, and what I love most is that each mic and receiver can be charged individually via USB-C . super convenient for onthego shoots. The OLED touchscreen on the receiver is bright, intuitive, and gives full control over gain and levels. 🎤 Audio Quality The sound is clean, natural, and professional. Voices come through crisp and full bodied, perfect for vlogs, interviews, or cinematic dialogue. It records internally in 32-bit float, meaning no more ruined takes due to distortion or clipping. Noise reduction works well in moderate outdoor environments, and the 250 m wireless range is excellent for its size. ⚙️ Versatility The DJI Mic 2 works with cameras, phones, tablets, and laptops truly plug and play with perfect size. It even records internally as backup, so your audio is safe even if you lose connection. The system is intuitive and ready to go right out of the case, making it great for both beginners and professionals. 🎚️ Lavalier Compatibility A big plus: each transmitter includes a 3.5 mm input to connect an external lavalier mic. This makes the setup cleaner for interviews or formal shoots a feature missing in some newer models. 💰 Value for Money For the price, this is a fantastic deal. You get professional-level audio, long battery life, and robust reliability in a very portable system. It’s affordable for what it offers a smart investment for creators, vloggers, or anyone serious about sound quality. 🔄 DJI Mic 2 vs DJI Mic 3 The newer DJI Mic 3 is smaller, lighter, and offers longer battery life and more storage. It also adds adaptive gain control and improved noise reduction. However, the Mic 3 removed the lavalier input, which is a dealbreaker for some professionals. If you use lav mics or prefer a proven, flexible system, and for me better sound quality stick with the DJI Mic 2. If you want the latest features and ultra compact design, go for the Mic 3. Either way, the DJI Mic 2 remains one of the best wireless mic systems for the money in 2025 reliable, versatile, and professional.

DJI Mic 2 (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case), Wireless Lavalier Microphone
Professional-Grade Sound Made Simple – DJI Nails It Again The DJI Mic 2 is hands-down one of the best wireless lavalier microphone systems I’ve used — and I’ve tried plenty. Whether you're a content creator, filmmaker, podcaster, or just someone who values high-quality audio, this kit delivers across the board. Unboxing and First Impressions: Right out of the box, it’s clear that DJI put serious thought into design and usability. The charging case is sleek, compact, and incredibly convenient — it keeps everything protected and fully charged without extra cables or clutter. The magnetic latch feels secure, and the build quality of both the transmitters and receiver is top-notch. Setup and Use: Setup is unbelievably fast. The transmitters and receiver pair automatically when removed from the case, and the intuitive touchscreen on the receiver makes navigating settings a breeze. Whether I’m plugging into a mirrorless camera, smartphone, or laptop, it’s practically plug-and-play with the included adapters. Performance: The audio quality is excellent. Clean, rich, and natural sound with very low noise, even in less-than-ideal environments. DJI has done a fantastic job with gain control and noise reduction — voices come through clearly, with minimal background interference. Dual transmitters allow for two-person interviews or dual-source recording, and having on-board recording as a backup is a life-saver in case of wireless interference. Range and Battery Life: Range is rock solid. I’ve tested it at distances of up to 250 ft in open environments with no signal drop or degradation. Battery life is also impressive — each transmitter lasts around 5 hours, and the charging case gives you multiple full recharges on the go, which easily gets me through long shooting days without worry. Bonus Features: Real-time headphone monitoring on the receiver Internal storage for safety recordings Versatile mounting options Windshields included and they actually stay on (thank you!) Final Thoughts: This kit just works. It’s compact, reliable, and delivers consistently professional audio with minimal effort. DJI really nailed the user experience here — it’s easy enough for beginners, but powerful and refined enough for professionals. If you’re serious about your audio and want something portable and dependable, this is 100% worth the investment. Highly recommended.

Great and worth the money
Great little audio package for the price. Fairly clean and crisp audio solution for separate sound recording. I haven’t tested out all the features but so far I really like this setup. I prefer the mic2 over the newer mic3 because of the 1/8 or mini plug for a separate lav mic. Highly recommend this system. I’m used to $2-3k professional audio gear and this is a game changer for those that want to get good sound for little money.

The Content Creator Standard
Nothing I can say that hasn’t already been said- for both content creation and small level set work, this is the best value per dollar wireless audio system on the market before heading into pro-level gear. The ease of use, audio quality, and sheer versatility provided by the 3.5mm jack are unmatched, and I have yet to find a reason to upgrade so far. If you need audio, look no further - the DJI Mic 2 will show up and show out.

Absoluut geweldige mic
Absoluut geweldige mic. Aanrader!

Great device let down by some software support.
Bluetooth connect doesn't work with all android devices. You can connect the device to the smartphone but a lot of the phones don't have the software options to pick the external connected mic. When you do find one that works you have to remember to disconnect the Bluetooth before trying to playback what you have recorded because it sees the device as a playback device too. I think this is a limitation with Android rather than the DJI Mic 2. It would be nice if they had an app for android that would resolve these 'issues'. The mic is pretty incredible though. The sound pickup is great, even through Bluetooth and the wind muff works really well. If you are buying to use for Android smartphone audio/video recording, make sure your device is capable of selecting the external mic, or you will be disappointed.

Quick and easy wireless music recording.
Very versatile. Bought these to use mainly with the DJI Osmo Action 4. Love how everything you need except for lav mics are included. They work really well for the price. Con for me is the lack of treads to connect lavalier mics. The video is an original song. An inexpensive lav mic was placed under the ball cap and the guitar connected directly to another wireless transmitter. 2 tracks recorded separately with the DJI mic 2 transmitters (32 bit float) with very little post processing. Just trying out a quick wireless set up. The lav mic picks up quite a bit of sound including the birds in the background. Overall very happy with these the DJI Mic 2. I plan to use the transmitters as a field recorder for acoustic instruments and vocals. I’ll also try recording our band’s live gigs with one transmitter connected to the mixer’s headphone out and one transmitter picking up crowd noise.
