Great product, will be using this for the foreseeable future
Here is my unpaid, unbiased review: Strengths: -The biggest strength is that TL goes out of its way to ensure and show that their protein is free of significant contaminants, which is something I was looking for. The Informed Protein and Informed Choice labels are good, but the real star of the show is the readily available CoAs which appears to be an unparalleled practice. I wish every brand had these. -28g of protein is very good. Many other “clean” brands I found have 24 or fewer grams. And you know it’s actual protein. -The texture is good, very smooth with minimal clumping. I have used both a shaker bottle and automatic blender bottle with similar results. -Chocolate flavor is decent, I’ve had slightly better but way worse. Reminds me a lot of Premier Protein’s chocolate flavor. Areas for improvement: -This is like picking out pimples on the face of a supermodel, but I believe NSF Certified for Sport and Informed Sport are both more stringent than Informed Choice. I’d like to see one of those make it on the label instead, even at the cost of being slightly pricier, but again, not a huge deal. -There’s also no typical amino acid profile I could find available on the website. Some other brands have this. It’s not something I pay attention to, but there’s someone out there who does, I’m sure. -For people who don’t like stevia or sunflower lecithin, those are in the flavored varieties. I couldn’t care less about these, though. -The flavor isn’t perfect - the balance between stevia and cocoa seems to lean a bit more towards the stevia side, but maybe that’s just me. Or else it’s because cocoa powder has to be minimal to minimize heavy metal contaminants. -It is a bit foamy at first after mixing, but quickly settles down after 1-2 minutes. But I cannot emphasize enough how nit-picky this is. Overall: great protein powder supplement, I plan to use this for the foreseeable future.

Tasty so good
Fantastic Protein Powder! I’ve been using this protein powder regularly after my workouts and I’m really happy with it. It mixes easily with water or milk, tastes great (not too sweet), and helps support muscle recovery and growth. I feel less sore the next day and it keeps me full longer. The texture is smooth with no clumps, and it doesn’t upset my stomach. Great quality for the price and a perfect addition to my fitness routine. Highly recommend!

My Choice For A Superlative Protein Supplement
This is the absolute purest and best whey isolate protein that I have ever used, bar none. There is only one ingredient. No additives, no fillers, nothing but 100% pure whey protein isolate. Mixes like a dream. I use mine in yogurt mostly. I love the milk malted milk flavor. I haven't seen a clump in mine yet. i will continue to use this protein despite the fact that it seems a little pricey and despite the fact that it comes in a large container that only seems half filled when i open it...but in this case, the benefits to me far outweigh the minor annoyances I have mentioned here and i will always use it as long as it is available. I know such products are usually sold by weight so i should not be concerned about the size of the container. I have to be fair here. Basically this is the best protein supplement I have ever used.

Clean ingredients, classic protein taste — great for smoothies & cooking
I chose the chocolate flavor from Transparent Labs, mainly because chocolate is my favorite. In terms of ingredients, this protein is really clean and high quality, which was the main reason I bought it. The taste is exactly what you expect from a whey protein - a classic protein taste. Honestly, I think it’s similar no matter which flavor you choose. I like that it’s very versatile. I use it in smoothies, pancakes, or just blend it with fruit. It mixes well and works great not only for shakes but also for cooking. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean protein with simple ingredients and a reliable taste, this one is a solid choice.

Protein is solid. But the "Transparent" part? Not so much. - Stick with Chocolate
If you're going to try this, stick with Milk Chocolate. It's the only flavor they've actually nailed. Vanilla is decent, nothing special. Chocolate Peanut Butter is worse than Vanilla but still drinkable. Strawberry Milkshake is absolutely terrible and undrinkable. It doesn't taste like strawberry or milkshake; it tastes like chemical watermelon bubblegum. I couldn't finish it. Now here's my real issue: the labeling you get doesn't match the Amazon advertised images. On Amazon, their photos say Natural Strawberry Flavor. But when you get the actual tub, the ingredient label only says Natural Flavors. That might sound minor, but it's not. “Natural Flavors” is FDA code for a mystery mix of chemicals that companies don’t have to list individually as long as each one is under a certain limit. If you’re going to call yourself Transparent Labs, then be transparent. Show us what’s actually in there. Right now, your pictures promise clarity, but your packaging delivers the opposite. That said, this is still my favorite protein overall for texture and mixability. Just don't fool yourself into thinking these guys are as honest as their name implies. They're about as transparent as mud if they don't remove the "Natural Flavors" from their packaging ingredients. FYI: "Natural Flavors" can legally include things like: -Solvents (used to dissolve or preserve flavor compounds) -Emulsifiers (help blend oil and water based ingredients) -Stabilizers (extend shelf life or texture) -Synthetic processing aids (chemically modified but still labeled "natural") -Extracts or oils from undisclosed sources (including potential allergens) -Animal derived compounds (sometimes used in flavor bases) -Engineered or lab altered flavor chemicals (still "natural" by FDA standards if originally plant or animal based) So yes, the protein is solid. But the "Transparent" part? Not so much.
