A Good Fit for a Specific Problem
I bought a low cost laptop that used a barrel style power connector. The lone USB-C port cannot be used to power the laptop. This made the laptop charger and the cable unable to power anything else. I had a PD charger that outputs 12V (not all do) and when I connected this cable I got 12V at its end plus a charged laptop. Now, I can tote only one charger and two different cables for all my needs. If you use a PD charger that does not include a 12V output you will get only 9V from the charger through this cable. If you use a USB-C to USB-A adapter you will get 5V.

Only provides 9V, not 12V
The idea of this is great, but it doesn't work as described. I tested this cable on 5 various PD adapters with a multimeter and it always reads 9V. If you need 12V, look elsewhere.

Mine Didn't Work
Mine was Dead On Arrival. If you buy one test it out right away. I waited too long to try it out so now I can't return it for a refund.

Please read written review
Many reviewers mention it only provides 9 volts, this is not true - it depends on the voltage supplied by the power adaptor. Some USB C wall adaptors output 9 v, some 5 v, you will only get the max voltage supplied by the wall adaptor. If the supply voltage is 19 volts, this cable will clip the voltage to 12 v as advertised. In my case I tested a USB C power supply known to supply 19 volts and it properly provided 12 volts. Have a close look at some of the pictures and observe the small circuit which I presume controls the voltage. Good product.
