GOOD 1TB FLASH DRIVE
After I received this adapter, I transferred over 700 videos to it, with lots of room to spare. It gets a little hot when it's running but otherwise, no problems. Decent product.

Works great
Small and very fast read and write. Convenient to be able to use without an adapter

Excellent thumb drive. Colors allow me to tell them apart.
Quick transfer of data on/off my MacBook Pro. Lightweight and durable. Inexpensive for what it can store-64Gb. Since it is plastic and not metal, it gets warm but not hot. I bought ten of them. Light enough to have four on my key ring.

Good value
Works well in general. Although it is painfully slow when receiving/writing data from my Apple MacBook Pro.

Great little usb stick
A very nice and very, very small usb stick. It arrived formatted as FAT32 but I reformatted it to exFAT due the file size restrictions inherent in FAT32, I mostly use it to copy images off of my smartphone and those copy very quickly, although it also is handy for copying files from my laptop to my desktop and back. So far I am pleased with the purchase and the small neck at the usb connection allows me to connect it to my smartphone even with its case on. Those usb sticks that I already had that did not have that neck would not connect to my phone unless I remove it from the case.

The Ultimate USB Drive for Modern Devices
SanDisk’s 512GB Ultra Dual Drive Go USB Type-C Flash Drive (SDDDC3-512G-GAM46) is an impressively versatile, high-capacity flash drive that has greatly enhanced day-to-day data management and device connectivity. This in-depth review covers real-world usability, speed, durability, and features, making it an essential guide for anyone considering this dual connector drive. The most notable advantage is the dual connectors—USB-A and USB-C—which allow for seamless file transfers between legacy and cutting-edge devices. This flexibility makes it ideal for working with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. No need for adapters, and switching between devices is as simple as flipping the drive’s cover. It’s especially useful for consolidating files or backing up media on the go, making transitions between work and personal devices absolutely hassle-free. With its 512GB capacity, the Ultra Dual Drive Go wipes out storage anxiety. It easily stores entire photo libraries, massive video files (including 4K and 8K footage), and countless documents or software installers. While the advertised read speed hits up to 400MB/s (USB 3.1), and typical transfer rates are fast and reliable for everyday use, some users note that sustained large writes (like transferring several 100GB videos) may cause the device to heat up and throttle speeds. Nevertheless, moves like a 160GB file in under 3 minutes show it’s more than competitive among similarly-priced drives. It’s not engineered for specialized pro-level tasks (such as direct ProRes video recording on premium smartphones), but for most consumer needs, performance is more than satisfactory. The sturdy swivel design both protects the connectors and makes the drive highly portable—perfect for pockets, bags, and busy schedules. The keyring hole offers extra convenience, and the compact form factor is praised for ease of use and daily carry. Notably, this isn’t a fragile accessory; the robust build feels solid and holds up well to constant handling. Setting up and using the Ultra Dual Drive Go is a breeze. Plug-and-play compatibility ensures immediate file access, while advanced users can enjoy features like automatic photo backups through SanDisk’s Memory Zone app on supported Android devices. Whether managing files between a USB-C smartphone and USB-A laptop or freeing up storage on-the-fly, it consistently delivers a smooth experience.

Slow as a snail
I bought the 512GB 150MB/s version, the slowest version with the largest capacity. It initially looked good because it has a nice form factor of USB C and USB 3.0 connectivity. It quickly became apparent that this is a terrible product. It simply is unusable due to its insanely slow transfer speeds, and it's by far the worst USB storage device I have used. It feels like you're back in 2002 using the first generation of USB thumb sticks, because the drive would freeze up when you try to open a file or transfer something in. I tested this drive extensively to try to figure out what was wrong. I tried reformatting to ExFAT formats to resolve any compatibility issues with Mac vs PC. I tried using a NTFS reader app on the Mac to read/write NTFS directly. In both scenarios, the drive is painfully slow, and it was slightly faster and more stable in the NTFS format with a NTFS reader (Tuxera). In the ExFat format, it was just unusable and freezes up whenever a file is transferred. I tried using it on PC, and the speed tests (results of tests in images attached) shows ~14MB/s transfer speeds. That is comically slow. I tried both USB 3.0 and USB C ports on the PC, with similar results. I tested on USB C on the macbook air M1, and it was ~20MB/s, slightly faster. My conclusion from my testing is that it's simply not equipped to handle transfers of any large file. This is not a compatability or formatting issue. This drive is slow whether you connect to a Mac or PC. It's slow if you use the USB C port or the USB 3.0 port. It's slightly better if you use NTFS format and use it on windows. This drive is maybe enough if you're someone who only has tiny files, but why would you put yourself through this painful process to use the drive. Just avoid this and buy something with a faster transfer speed.

Smallest, most lightweight 256gb drive I've ever used
Needed a large enough USB storage device that would work both as an OTG device for backing up phone data off multiple devices, but also on standard PC's if necessary. This was the perfect choice. On one end is USB-C male connector, which actually has a longer metal plug. This make it easier to fit the USB-C port on the phone without taking off the phone case. The other end is a standard USB-A male connector that is also longer and can be inserted into recessed ports on a PC or laptop. The physical drive itself is tiny. And the casing is plastic (not metal). So it's extremely lightweight, and narrow enough so that it can actually fit inside the cap of fountain-pen. The only complain I have is the SanDisk software on Android. It kept failing to recognize the exFAT format that was default on the drive. After some troubleshooting, I realized that the drive first had to be formatted by Android (via Android OS's Storage setting), and not via Windows OS. Once the blank drive was formatted via native Android's Storage option for exFAT, it worked on Android across multiple phones, and also in Windows. Otherwise this software issue, this device was perfect for my needs.
