So when it comes to new products, I am a bit leery of Amazon goods. Many reviews are fake. If I see a user has less than 40 reviews, I just assume it's fake. Well, this item struck me as being questionable but it looked like just what I needed. My needs were: 1) vent mount, 2) adjustable angle, 3) vice-like clamp to vent fins, 4) phone clamp that was solid and not going to break easily. Well, safe to say this product is the real deal. It actually comes with two different vent clamps. One is twist to tighten. The other uses a lever. Both are excellent and seem to lock the fins of the vent in a straight out position. There is a ball joint that the holder can adjust angle. The phone clamp has padded silicone and holds the phone very well. The release is a button on the lower back which is easy to activate. Bottom line, this is a great vent phone holder. It holds my 6S Plus with thick case very well. Hopefully holds my 11 Pro Max that I'm due to get any day now. The materials looks strong. If I were to list a weakness, maybe the ball joint could break longterm seeing how it bears the brunt of the forces. Hopefully that never comes to pass and only time with tell. That said, I just ordered two more mounts. It fits my needs perfectly and is very competitively priced.

Works well! The phone holder easily attaches to my vent. Stable and secure. My phone never falls out, even during a bumpy ride.

I bought a pair of these last year for the family cars. These met my needs perfectly, and have proven well worth the money. What really stands out is the customer service, which is better than I have ever experienced before (Thanks Maggie!). The product feels sturdy, appears made of solid plastic/metal/rubber, and is tightly constructed. It also appears to be built to repair, with screws instead of glue in some places. Replacement parts are hard to find though. They come with two different ways to secure on the A/C vents, and are easy to install and hold very securely. The gimbal on the attach point ensures my phone is always oriented correctly. The plastic holding the gimbal to the phone mount may be a bit weak for the job, more on that later. The phone clip is massive and supports my ridiculously large Samsung S22 Ultra and iPhone 11 Pro Max with no issues. It's effortless to mount the phones--simply drop it in and squeeze the sides to secure it. The guides are deep and help minimize alignment problems I've experienced with other phone mounts. There's a button on the back which opens the side clips and releases the phone. One quibble here--the clips are very slow to release, and sometimes require assistance to open fully--this could be because I'm operating at the edge of how far these clips open. Service: I snapped the mounting clip off while trying to break the mount down to take on a road trip, and thought this item was done. Noticing it appeared to be a replaceable part that broke, I reached out to VANMASS to see if I could buy a new part. I expected to get some generic reply weeks or months later, and was shocked to receive a personal reply from a human almost immediately. Maggie from VANMASS responded right away, apologized for my issue and offered to replace my mount with no questions. I took a while to get back to her with my address, and she was very patient and still responded quickly to me. I live overseas, so it turned out she could not ship directly to me, which one might expect would be the end of it, but not for Maggie. She then authorized me to purchase another one, and refunded the purchase. Maggie, you've made me a VANMASS customer for life, thanks for taking such good care of me. Great product, fantastic customer service.

Sturdy build, the rubber sides and feet do a nice job of holding a phone securely. Works fine with the LG Stylo 5 (a very big and fairly heavy phone) in a protective case (one in an Otterbox case and the other in a Covrware case). Nice to have 2 different mounting options, one that screws in and the other with a lever that locks the holder to the vent. I'm using the lever option and am pleased with it. Bought one for one of our cars and liked it enough to buy a second one for the other car. There are cheaper alternatives, but I'm pleased with the quality and glad I bought these.

I've never had any issues with the phone falling out or the entire mount detaching. Overall, superior stability, sleek and modern design, and flexible adjustability make it a far more reliable and user-friendly option. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rock-solid car phone holder.
