Love this thing. Had it for about a year now and if it had transistor Hfe and capacitor ESR it would be the perfect piece of diagnostic equipment. So much more convenient than having to switch between a multimeter, a bench scope, and a logic probe back and forth. Battery holds a charge for a long time too. Bright, high-contrast screen. Only complaint is the auto-screen-shut-off is set to like 5 minutes out of the box so it will spontaneously "turn off" on you while taking measurements. You can change this in the menus but it is not the same thing as the Auto-Power-Down feature, which is confusing.

Excellent quality. Be sure to update the firmware to V1.4.2. Once updated the scope trace will appear much finer in detail. Plus a new feature is added to the menu.

This meter is well built (solid, but not rugged) given the price range. The meter meets all it's claims and is accurate on par with any sub $200 meter. It's oscilliscope functions are okay (a little on the slow end) but work well. My only real gripe is that the oscilloscope does not have (anywhere that I could find) a maximum voltage rating for the inputs. Other than that, the recessed BNC connectors can make attaching and removing probes difficult as the part that rotates of partially blocked by the meter body. (that isn't a serious issue, and I appreciate the protection the recessed sockets provide for the connectors. In solving this I would suggest providing either extenders or leads with better grips on them.) Overall though, if your looking for a decent portable meter & oscilloscope for car/hvac diagnostic purposes and don't need/want to buy a Siglent or Fluke/Testo then this is a good meter, especially given the cost!

This meter for the price is an excellent choice for all you can do with is capabilities.

The meter itself worked great. Until it didn't. The resistance function stopped working. I have made numerous attempts to get product support from the Zoyi website. I have written to three different email address listed in product support. Repeatedly. Crickets. Nothing. Silenco. Apparently Zoyi does not support their products after the sale. What the heck. They got their money.

The display is a little noisy. But it does Ajay I need it to.

The output for the function generator is the same connection point used for trimming the oscilloscope probes. And it has only two selectable output voltages. Either 1V or 2.5V which is reference to ground. There is no voltage offset adjustment for the output waveforms. The advertisement seems purposefully vague regarding the function generator features. I wouldn't have ordered it if the ad had a more thorough description of the function generator's limitations. I hope that having this info helps you to make your choice.

Desglocemos por puntos. Positivos: 1. El multimetro es excelente en calidad, se ve muy bien y se siente genial al tacto, además incluye su funda. 2. La calidad de imagen de la pantalla es muy buena, así que las señales y mediciones se ven con claridad, también la interfaz es fácil de entender y muy agradable a la vista. 3. La precisión de las mediciones con el multimetro es excelente, al ser de 25,000 puntos es muy precisa y las he comparado a marcas como Fluke, siendo demasiado cercanas. Además incluye mediciones de capacitancia, inductancia, resistencia, voltaje, continuidad, diodos, etc. 4. El osciloscopio es muy bueno, al ser de 50MHz las señales son claras y es capaz de tomar mediciones de señales de altas frecuencias sin mucho problema. Inclusive añade modos como X-Y y transformada de fourier (aunque simple). 5. Incluye un generador de señales, aunque muy básico. Pero por todo lo que ofrece, y su precio, no podríá exigirle mas. 6. Las puntas del multímetro son finas y puntiagudas, lo cual es excelente para hacer mediciones en espacios restringidos. Sólo hay que cuidar no pincharse. Negativos: 1. El trigger a veces puede ser erratico, espero se solucione con alguna actualización de FW. 2. El generador de señales es muy básico, dando rangos de frecuencias grandes y no ajustes finos. No hay ajustes de amplitud para las señales generadas. 3. Tiende a perder algo de carga sin uso. Le doy 5 estrellas porque todo lo que ofrece por su precio es excelente y apesar de tener algunos detalles, es difícil encontrar algo en este rango de precios que ofrezca lo mismo.

This is not a lab meter, but for a portable meter everything works really well. take it out of peak mode and set it to HD <this will fix most complaints about the signal not being clean
