Great card shuffler! Love it!
I first gave this a bad review because the shuffler was tearing up my cards and definitely shuffling improperly. I returned it and got a replacement and this one is working perfectly.!! Iโm so happy because we really did like it but I just happen to have a faulty one previously, but they made it right and got me a new one!

Rechargeable batteries do not work
The shuffler works fine-as good as any of this designโฆBUT rechargeable batteries do NOT work in this shuffler. Just plan to use regular alkaline batteries and keep another four batteries on hand just in case the game keeps on going. Batteries last a reasonable length of time.

OK Product
Works very good. Shuffles well. When shuffling 5 decks at a time as you get to the end of the third deck sometimes the cards will jam up

Cheap and initially would not work.
I purchased a smaller version previously that is powered by AA batteries. It works pretty well so far. I gave it to my daughter and son-in-law as they have many card games. I decided to try this larger one. I didn't notice that it runs on C batteries, but no problem. I have rechargeable C batteries for it. The first one I received would not work. The battery compartment is poorly designed, and I could never insert the batteries in a way that would make it work. I knew the batteries were good. I should have known when the seller automatically sent a message after shipping saying that if it doesn't work, try bending this and that in the battery compartment. Do not return it without contacting them (the don't want Amazon to bill them for the refund and the shipping). I replied and told them it didn't work. They made suggestions for tinkering with it, but I told them I shouldn't have to mess with it. So, they sent me another that arrived very quickly. Guess what? Same problem with the new one. So, I got out my multimeter and a small tool kit. I examined the battery compartment and confirmed with the multimeter that the batteries couldn't make contact. The negative terminal springs are flimsy and bend down when the batteries are inserted. I had to pry them back into position with a small screwdriver once the batteries were in place. There is a plastic ridge near the positive side where the button top is supposed to make contact with the positive terminal. However, there is a plastic track there that contacts the top of the battery and prevents the button top of the battery from making contact with the plate at that side of the battery compartment. I had to bend each of those to the point of pulling out past the plastic track and finally could get a voltage reading on the multimeter. Then, the device worked. This device shuffles the large deck of cards for one of our games but the spring for the shuffled deck holder is too weak and allows the shuffled cards to drop too far down. As a result, the next cards turn sideways and upside down in the holder. You then have to dig them out and go through the shuffled deck to find cards that are facing the wrong way. To correct this problem, I found I needed to support the shuffled card holder with my finger and not allow it to go down any further than necessary. That solved that issue. The seller did not want the first device returned, so I still have it. I probably can tinker with it and get it to work. I suppose I'll keep it as a spare. These things are cheap plastic, so I don't know how long they'll last. I didn't have to, but I decided to keep this one since I got it to work. To do over, I would have purchased another of the smaller ones that take AA batteries. This one is much larger than we needed anyway.

Card Shuffler that works
This shuffler works well and is easy to use. I run it three times which may be an overkill, but that's what other Canasta and "Hand & Foot" players do.

GOOD SHUFFLER BUT PLASTIC TURN CROOKED.
Good shuffler BUT THE PLASTIC IS ALWAYS TURNING CROOKED. I WOULD GET ANOTHER ONE FROM ANOTHER BUYER

This card shuffler did not work well.
I have ordered the shuffler before and it worked quite well. This one is malfunctioning. It will not shuffle the cards without the cards getting hung, causing damage to the cards.

Card shuffler
Very easy to put together and use. Read directions first and you shouldn't have any problems.
