It took a bit for me to get the hang of the PiBox. I bought it to use in an attempt to recover files from the SSD on my laptop which had crashed. I finally accessed it, and found that while Disk Management (PC - Windows) showed the drive, it was inaccessible. I downloaded a free limited use scanner tool, which did find files and recovered them, but they were corrupted beyond use. I did buy a Samsung SSD to use with it (at least until I try to re-format the old SSD), which again took me a bit to get connected. The heat mat pulled the connections loose when I slid the box back together. The plug to hold the SSD in place did not hold. It was VERY TIGHT when closing with heat mat in place but it seems to be controlling heat well. The transfer speeds have been good on the few files I have moved around. The options of USB C and USB 2 cords is very nice. I do wish there were extra plugs included. I lost the included one pretty quickly. The company does not ship directly to the US. I'll keep looking elsewhere. The free stand which was included is interesting. The attached photo and screen shot were taken at same time.

I don't know if Its just my unit but it failed every time used. I won't use it. I did not give the company a chance to fix or explain - I bought expensive Samsung that I've never had problems with You never know what notes are important - not worth risking anything vital - I would not use it to transfer files even Not sure of driver software - not sure if it will be supported - just thinking about it makes me worry If I lived in country it was made I might feel better about a product like this - if it worked I actually bought it because I liked the name - different meaning in the country it was manufactured The M2 you have - this devices software/driver - might not be compatible - Not just the type of M2 Use this product if you have old M2's & using for information non critical or even close to it I am so tired of products not made close to my proximity - able to keep them in service It's just not worth the time to problem solve - they should have have covered it before selling Disgruntled Digitize'r

EXCELLENT PRODUCT QUALITY AND WORK WELL for NVME M2 500 TB DISK FROM LAPTOP. USED IT FOR BACKUP PURPOSES. THEY PROVIDE 2 CABLES AND ALSO A COOLING CLAY STRIP. THIS IS GREAT. COST IS A BIT HIGH THOUGH. Rs 600 to Rs 800 for the quality would have been excellent.

I recently purchased the PIBOX India NVMe M2 Enclosure (Model M2-312-NE) and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and user-friendliness. Installation was incredibly easy, which is a huge plus. The inclusion of two different data cables is incredibly thoughtful and practical, ensuring compatibility and convenience right out of the box. I also really appreciate the inclusion of a thermal pad – a crucial detail for maintaining optimal drive performance and longevity. In terms of functionality, the data transfer speeds are excellent, living up to expectations for an NVMe enclosure. This product is genuinely very useful for anyone needing an external solution for their M.2 NVMe SSDs. My only significant criticism is regarding the packaging. For such a compact product (as evident from the included case), the sheer size of the cardboard box and the plastic bag used for shipping was excessive. It feels like a significant waste of resources and an unnecessary contribution to plastic pollution. While the product itself is top-notch, the over-packaging definitely detracts from an otherwise perfect experience. Pros: * Very useful and performs well * Easy to install * Includes two types of data cables * Comes with a thermal pad * Good data transfer speeds Cons: * Excessive and wasteful packaging (large cardboard box and plastic bag for a small product) Despite the packaging issue, I highly recommend this PIBOX India NVMe enclosure for its excellent performance and features. If they could address the packaging, it would be a truly flawless product.

Really top quality product with good compatibility across different dimensions of nvmes. I've also had some luck getting standard SATAs and eMMCs to run though this is more than what was advertised. The metal case is a good feature to dissipate heat and they were nice enough to include a strip of thin thermal pad which I haven't had to use but for users who'd be stressing their drives a lot more, this might come in handy. The slider where the drive is clamped is well built and doesn't feel flimsy and properly clasps into the metal casing. Really nice touch with the protective zipper case that comes with two connected cables and two clasps. Also appreciated that they included a nice little portable desk stand for mobile phones-- I was able to stick onto my Steam Deck and use it as a makeshift stand. I don't know if they are actually manufacturing in India (it's rebranded from a Chinese OEM in all likelihood) but I genuinely feel that they could charge more for this product. Rs. 1100 feels like a throwaway price for the product and it drives down the quality of the competition and user-expectations become difficult to meet. My other suggestion will be to dial back the branding a little. It's too large and high-contrast and it's all over the actual product and also its protective case. Something more subtle would have been preferable and given it a classier look.

works as intended/advertised, with similar speed. the casing has USB C port, and two chords are provided, USB A to C, and C to C, so connecting it to any PC, or device is possible. Doesnt require any drivers, it is plug and play, fairly easy to use. Sometimes, the casing/SSD is not recognised, but I use it on a custom OS, so not sure if the problem is with the casing, or my OS/drivers. Overall, it is a good product.
