Powerful Solar for the Price - Recommended for Small Ponds
I bought this after using one of those useless floating solar fountains. This is actually very good and great value for money. Okay, my pond is only small but the filter keeps the water crystal clear. It works well under a cloudy sky and the built in battery keeps it running for a few hours after daylight. I reckon it flows for about 16 hours a day (in summer, not sure about winter). Comes with various nozzels, I can only use this one due to the size of my pond - the others rise too high and I lose water over the side. Don't think you will get better for the price.

Great product, Good quality, easy to install.
The kit arrived as usual the next day and well packaged. On opening the box I found a good quality item with numerous accessories and an instruction leaflet that was sufficient when I studied it. I did a dry run through of assembly to see how it went together. I fixed the bracket to a south facing wall with the screws and plugs supplied. Then I swapped out the existing mains powered pump for my new solar powered pump, because of the accessories supplied I was able to use the existing water pipe. With the water reservoir filled I attached the pumps power lead to the solar panel. Although there was NO direct sun (cloudy) the pump started and my water feature was working. It continued working until the evening, and when I checked the following morning 7:15am it had started up, again with no direct sun!! As can be seen in photos (no shadows) VERY PLEASED and would recommend this product.

Great feature for price and size
Great little pump. I have it 4 stars as a little overpriced in my opinion however this is a fairly powerful little water feature. The build is pretty solid with plenty of accessories to add. The instructions are a little vague but it’s not overly complicated to put together. Battery pack works well as the video shows this is with no direct sun. Would happily get this again.

Lasted a whole three weeks
The water fountain was great at first, three weeks in however and it has stopped working. I have tried everything to get it going again to no avail. I cannot recommend this particular fountain. Update. I have tested the fountain and discovered the pump itself works, the solar panel that came with it is faulty, the sealed in battery on the back of the solar panel has swollen. Once it detects a bad battery the solar panel will not even supply power directly to the pump. A bit of a design floor because when the battery dies you cannot replace it rendering the whole panel useless.

Pretty solar fountain works well
Well packaged in a nice box I’ll keep to store in the winter; easy to assemble and been running nicely for 2 weeks no problems; I do disconnect at night and place the solar panel in the sun to charge as water feature in the shade but it’s easy and just my choice; cable between pump and panel quite long so you can move it around connected if you need to; lovely spray of water very pretty and nice sound; pump floats with foam ring or I just weighted mine with stones both work well; very happy overall

Excellent shower for grubby frog
Not bad at all for the money. Added a builders bucket to the rockery to attract wildlife, only run the pump a few times in bright sunshine. Works surprisingly well. We've already had a random frog turn up for a shower. Oh, check your pond water level regularly while this pump is running - it can drop quite fast. Specs say it has an automatic low-level cut-out so should leave a bit of water in the bottom. Update... still very impressed with this package, the solar panel is big enough to pump a lot of water, even in cloudy and evening UK light levels.

Should be £10 to £15 not £35
Very disappointed with this fountain, and the price, this is a very flimsy fountain the way you put it together is something I'd expect from a fountain for £15, the stem of the fountain is very short so your limit to where you can put it as the actual fountain can't be under the water. And it's not much use as a filter unless you pond is no bigger that a bucket. The solar panel is about the best thing about this item, it's a good size and seems well made. So the price in my opinion based on items I have and others I have purchased, this fountain should be £10 to £15, this was just short of £35, to put that into perspective I have a wired pump, with UV filter, 3 good foam filter, stone filter, fountain ( that I broke ) with outlet for hose ( that is now running my waterfall) and all that from Amazon cost around £46, I also have a solar fountain just a tad small than this 1 with the same filter that is now running a statue water feature that was around £12, so in my experience this fountain is was over priced, the filter in this and I use the term lightly is ok if your water is already clear, but in a pond with fish this and even with 2 good filter pumps and 2 small solar fountain pump this will need cleaning every 2 weeks in my experience. My few is don't purchase this for this price, even if you have a small water feature or very small pond there is far better for the price and even cheaper. This was a very disappointing purchase.
