Everything required to play chess was explained and i believe it answers every single question newbies have about chess. It also explains openings, tactics and endgames which is good for getting better during the beginner and intermediate level But it might be boring for better players, who know the common openings, tactics and endgames.

Book arrived in superb condition. Great read for beginners as well as intermediate learners. Have just finished a couple of chapters so far. I am reading this along with my 8 year old son and he too is able to follow this book. Ofcourse, he has been learning chess at home since a year, so maybe that helps too.

It cited about openings, middle moves and endings with few examples. Please do not expect all possible moves, openings, endings, which is never possible to provide, but examples are good enough for beginners. Moreover the language is easy to understand for young players.
