I recently purchased my first house, and as a result now actually have a garden to deal with. Having never had to deal with a garden before it was a bit of a shock to the system discovering how much you have to do with it beyond just mowing the lawn. This book however has helped greatly and also I have used it as encouragement to start up some projects that will continue on over the years. The book is easy to use and gives simple instructions with pictures clearly identifyoing the steps you need to take in order to achieve what you want to do. Well worth buying, especially if you don't know where to start in a garden.

Very easy to understand and lots of ideas

Fall in line with other Haynes manuals. Not too in depth but not a complete idiots guide too.

Their range of books are always good and this is no exception. A great ideas book even if you dont follow their instructions to the letter.

Thought it would be more detailed. A bit too general.

best book on market all you can expect from hayne manules i have used them on cars and now i use this for my garden work so pleased
