Flat Paddle Set

Great brushes, easy to use and clean and they don't shed.

Very nice brushes! Soft bristles with enough snap, great for spreading Gesso, paint, varnish or glue. They don't seem to shed bristles. The metal ferrule of the neck is not quite flat to the brush handle, but it has not had any effect on its use. I suppose you could tap it down with a mallet if it really bothers you. Worth every penny and I'd definitely buy these again.

These brushes are nice and soft and lay down a nice smooth even layer of paint. They shed an Picasso al bristle but really not that much at all. I like the. And find them to give a nice result. Would and have bought again.

Work them before use to shed loose brush hairs.

This is a nice set of flat brushes. Soft bristles. The handle finish is smooth, comfortable in the hand and to the touch.

I absolutely love these brushes! I originally found them on Temu but was so happy to see them on amazon for a great price so I ordered multiples. I have used these to paint a lot of different furniture and trim and they have worked great. J love how soft the bristles are and how well they fit in the hand. They last a long time and wash well. I haven’t had to replace any yet but have multiples so that I can use a clean dry brush to apply subsequent coats of paint. They also make a great alternative to using a seal staining brush in small areas.

I bought two identical brushes, each 3 inches wide. Nowhere was it mentioned how thick the brush would be. It turned out to be not very thick. Well, okay — I can work with that. But after the first coat, both brushes started shedding hair excessively. There were 1–2 bristles on every inch of the canvas. I bought them specifically to create very large acrylic gradients on a big canvas. And instead of moving forward with my project, I had to waste time picking hairs off the canvas. Some of the bristles had already stuck and left texture behind. Later, when I scraped them off with a palette knife, the uneven spots remained and the texture had already dried — in some areas the marks from the bristles are still visible. It’s just a disaster. I do not recommend buying these brushes.
