I grabbed this one specifically because I drop my phone a lot. The case I got for my rog5 different cover the edges of the screen I dropped it one to many times and it cracked on the side of the screen (the wrap around) between the expressed part and the disposable screen protector I had on the front. I wanted to avoid that after I upgraded this case has an eighth of an inch lip that actually protects the sides of the screen and I'm sorry happy with that. It's been a few months now.

It looks nice and feels good. My only complaint is that the headphone jack cutout is too small. My not too bulky headphone plug won't fit in.

The case fits fine, but it is quite thin on the sides, the only thing to slow down an impact is that outer plastic, no inner material whatsoever. The camera bump protector also adds a lot of thickness due to a ridge that they added for some reason, which adds to the already huge camera bump on the ASUS ROG 8. The back is clear, and lets your see the phone fine, but it is acrylic, so it will scratch. The packaging was also weird and covered in weird spelling errors and grammar that made it hard to tell what you even bought. All in all, the case will PROBABLY protect the phone, but it certainly isn't inspiring confidence.
