I'm very impressed with this guitar case.
This is a very impressive guitar case. You can lock it if you want to. What impressed me the most was the perfect fit of my Fender Squier guitar. The inside liner is so soft and just the right amount of storage for my picks. The black color is just what I was looking for. This case looks like its made of a very sturdy material. I want have any worries of traveling with my guitar in case in my car now.

ENUF ROOM FOR A ‘BIRD AND THEN SOME
Love my BC Rich Mockingbird ST, but until now a good case meant shelling out $300. A 43”OAL case is tight and closes tighter. Went above my budget for this “Extreme” case, glad I did. Will invest in microfiber cloths to stabilize the lower bout; neck fit is great, under neck compartment for strap(s), iPad, etc. Latch closures are solid, interior padding is thick and plush, well finished and comfortable to carry. Not a small case, the point was not to crush the guitar when closing the lid.

Left handed EVH
I have a few Gator items. I'm happy with all the bags and cases. They're well made. It's a way to save a few bucks but not get garbage. This case is a great deal if you ask me. It's a little tight but it's works. I actually like that it's so slim. It's easier for storage and it holds my guitar with it moving around. I have the more expensive case and it's great also. I just wanted to save a few bucks so I got this one. It fits my new EVH 5150 and it also fit my Strat. I'm left handed. So its important that my cases fit universal. A lot of times you will find cases that perfectly fit right handed. You need to check if you're a lefty like me. This will do the trick though. I prefer hard cases over bags for my guitars. This is basic. Has a spot for a bit of cables or whatever. The EVH just fits. If the body was any longer it wouldn't fit. So make sure your guitar will fit. It says it's made for strat style guitars.

Great case for the bucks !
PROS: This is the second of these cases I’ve bought (for other guitars), and am very pleased with the quality of these cases. They are a little heavy, but seem more than durable for local travel. NOT a road case, but a solid case nonetheless. CONS: I will say this, they can run a little small. The last one I bought for a Bass, was a snug fit, especially with the strap locks adding length overall, so give yourself a little more length when measuring. Also, the inside of the case, where the storage compartment is, sets up too high. It still fits well, but the neck rest inside the of the case, puts added pressure on the neck, but doesn’t worry me at all. Plush enough that it feels well protected. Would like to see a snap strap added for extra stability. Will buy again…cause I need another Bass….😬

Very nice case
That’s a really well-made case! My ESP LTD F-50 fits perfectly inside. I’m really enjoying it. Just a heads-up, it might be a bit heavy and bulky for those who are smaller. .

Came well packed and quick, solid bang for the buck
Unlike some of the other reviews here, mine came well protected with packing paper and wrapped in plastic - I noted before purchase several here did not have that experience in the past so I guess the manufacturer listened. Solid case, not too heavy - wouldn't trust it with the luggage crews for a flight, but that isn't what this is for. Well padded, plush interior, looks great, fit my Donner DST-152 which I bought it for perfectly and has a plenty spacious accessories compartment. Great bang for the buck, can't believe how much cheaper it is to get a good wood hard shell case compared to 20 years ago when this would have been (not even adjusting for inflation) $300 easily. Something you may overlook but will appreciate is the rounded corners that others don't offer in this price range. What else to say? It's a good, nice looking wood hard shell case on a budget, it does what it says and what you intend it to do. Oh, and the hardware has a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, so they stand behind the product.

SOLID STYROFOAM! ...behind the liner. = ABSOLUTELY "NO FLEXIBILITY"!
Case has solid styrofoam behind the liner which "doesn't allow ANY flexibility" like most other case manufacturers. I was thoroughly shocked and disappointed as your guitar MUST BE THE EXACT MEASUREMENTS or less to fit. QUOTE FROM DESCRIPTION: "carrying case for musicians who tend to "stay close to home". Constructed out of "heavy‐duty plywood and encased in a thick layer of Tolex PVC plastic (NOT), the GWE‐BASS is both sleek and sturdy-(NOT) as well as moisture‐resistant. Plush black fabric lines the interior, offering a soft, luxurious cradle for your instrument and cushioning against minor bumps and bruises." lol - Such a used car-salesman line of BS." UNBELIEVABLE! The so-called interior padding around the inside of the case is HARD-STYROFOAM!!! ...and the plywood is thin and highly flexible!!! Don't drop it on anything! Just falling from the end to the flat side onto something hard at the floor will probably cause minor damage to your bass guitar. Drop it off a truck, the edge of the stage, or on the stairs? ...NO WAY! Your guitar will get damaged. ...and it's CERTAINLY NOT A FLIGHT CASE as someone posted. If your guitar isn't exactly the size of the interior or less, forget it! "So-called interior padding does not have any flexibility whatsoever" ! It's HARD DENSE STYROFOAM like used for shipping guitars! You can't compress it to form to your guitar. I've NEVER seen such a design!!! Words can not describe the shock when I received this case for an Electric Bass Guitar (GWE-BASS) as well as the ABS Molded Case for Extra Long Electric Guitars!!! HARD STYROFOAM "SO-CALLED" PADDING UNDER THE INTERIOR CLOTH!!! ...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! RETURNED BOTH THIS GWE-BASS CASE “AND” THE EXTRA LONG ELECTRIC GUITAR CASE I PURCHASED. After this I'll NEVER buy another Gator case again! -- You don't even get what you pay for. Don't assume you'll get the industry standard for inside case padding! -- Once burnt, twice shy.

The neck cutout could be a bit deeper, as it raises the headstock higher than the body, causing potential push down along the neck, causing some strain. I have Jackson RR X Flying V 7 String.
