Great
I have bought 3 of them already because I’m happy with the features and functionality.

Product well worth the price
Very good product, works like a charm. Clear readings. I would however like a manual enclosed that illustrates the various uses of the product, and a case that protects undue activation of the LED lights on the probe, or activation of the sounding feature, either of the two features when stored in the case.

4.8 of 5 since that’s not an option 5 of 5
Great product affordable wih great features. The user interface takes a bit to get used to being that it doesn’t have a select or enter button labeled. However, once you realize the button in the left is the enter button even though it doesn’t look like it… you’re good to go. Btw great battery life!

Dead after 5 months
Seemed like a decent value with some minor quirks but after less than five months it is dying. Consumes batteries at a phenomenal pace...put brand new battery in TODAY and it is dead two hours later. Thought last battery was a fluke when it failed so quick but yeah its a POS officially.

Works as it should except the remote IDs
This testing tool is easy to use and identifies faults in data cables. However, when using the wire map function, there are inconsistencies and incorrect results with the remote ID number displayed on screen when cross checked with the actual remote number. For example when testing with remote number 1, the wire map test will display remote ID number 2. Then when you run the same test again, the wire map test will display the correct remote ID, which is ID number 1. When using other remotes, they also sometimes display the wrong number. As a result, if the job requires correctly identifying and mapping cables using multiple remotes, this tester can give you incorrect and misleading results which can lead to incorrect cable mapping. Not good as you can potentially waste a lot of time at the job site. Other than this huge flaw, the unit seems to correctly check for any faults with your data cabling terminations as well as a having functional toner and probe.
