Fluke 17B+ Digital Multimeter, for Electrical Applications, Measures AC/DC Voltage 1000V, Current Measurements to 10A, Resistance, Continuity, Diode, Capacitance, Frequency, and Temperature Testing

Bought this as a backup, been using this same exact model for years and years, very accurate and it’s on par with the specs to almost all of the boardview software, so measurement is very easy to compare. Leads are sturdy and very easy to change. Response time is great and the big numbers on the display simply makes it ideal for Microsoldering repairs.

Fluke makes a great line of handheld DMMs. The 17B+ is perfect for an electronics test bench, supporting the range of voltage and current measurements of typical interest as well as resistance, capacitance, frequency and temperature measurements and continuity checks. The OLED display on my Agilent U1273A finally gave out, becoming too dim to read. I ordered a replacement display board, and purchased the Fluke 17B+ because I needed a meter in the meantime and was a little nervous about the off-brand replacement display board. The replacement display arrived today and is working well. I'll definitely be keeping the Fluke because I want a backup in case I have any more trouble with the U1273A, because it is often convenient to have a second DMM available, and because I really like the Fluke 17B+. I get identical resistance measurements with both meters. The U1273A measures 10.005V from a lab supply set to 10V, and the Fluke measures 10.01V. I'm not running a calibration lab, so this is perfect for the things I'm doing. The meter is easy to use, it does exactly what I expect it to do and there haven't been any problems or surpises. It feels good in the hand, solid and well made. (I don't think the world needs another picture of a Fluke 17B+ on a bench displaying a measurement. Trust me, it looks just like the picture in the listing and comes with test leads and thermocouple as shown.) If you're looking for a meter for your electronics workbench, this is one you should absolutely consider. It's a great combination of quality, performance and price. If you don't care about frequency measurements or tempeature measurements with a thermocouple, you can save $40 with the Fluke 15B+.

Excellent as normal for Fluke. Needed something accurate for home use with electronics and this is a solid meter. Love the auto-ranging feature: don’t have to think about it, just measure. Built in leg for standing it up is really useful on the bench as well. Highly recommended, and worth the price.

This meter worked as was expected. I also purchased the magnetic strap for it as I work on large vehicles and found that to be very helpful to hold the meter while working. I upgraded to the better leads from Fluke as well. Auto shutoff feature is nice when your forget to turn your meter off as well I have recommended this meter to several co workers of mine as they seem to enjoy borrowing frequently.

Works great, really accurate, took a bit of learning to figure out how to enter all the modes, but built really well. Wish the price was a bit lower, but I guess quality is more expensive

Just bought this after seeing the positive reviews. I use an $400 Fluke at work daily. The leads are pretty terrible imo. They’re made of hard rubber and stay all bent and kinked in weird shapes, not soft and flexible as you’d expect from a Fluke. Just makes the thing feel cheap, even my 25yo Craftsman had soft flexible leads. You cannot disable the button beeps! Who thought that was a good idea my gosh. I reached out to Fluke Technical support and they confirmed that is the case. Now that I’ve used it more it’s not the end of the world but the option would be nice. Besides these two issues right off the bat the meter oneself is pretty decent for an entry level model.

Buen producto. Con el serial que trae el equipo sí pude registrarlo en la página de fluke. Hasta el momento, todo bien. Mediciones muy similares a las de un 87v. Devolví uno que traia la pantalla rota. El segundo que compre viene sin problemas. El empaque de Amazon está fatal, solo una bolsa de papel que no protege nada la caja del multímetro. Asi que llegó toda maltratada. Parece que Amazon no le importa proteger un equipo delicado, prefiere que le estén haciendo devoluciones.
