It's pretty much exactly like the old one but, slightly better graphics not much else has changed. It's been forever since i last played. Unfortunately i lost my 3DS when i had moved a couple of years ago..SO when i found out from a friend that they were releasing LM:DM on switch, i was so excited and immediately started looking where to buy! it came in way earlier than expected and i saved like 10$ :D (still cost quite a bit but thats switch games for you lol) i think it was (imo) definitely worth it! brings back memories from the good ol days when i was younger ^^

Good, but not the best
I never played Luigi's Mansion 2 on the 3DS, so this was a fresh experience for me. Coming off recent replays of 1 and 3, I figured I would get 2 as the others are great. Unfortunately, this is the worst of the 3, but it's not bad. The level structure of play a little and return to the hub is really annoying and something they should have done away with when porting the game. Yes 1 and 3 have it too, but far less frequent and it does not grade you like this one. This game is also way too easy all ghosts seem like a non-threat to you. Outside of that, the game looks good, and the maps are fun to explore. Some puzzles are enjoyable and finding secret stuff always feels good. It's a great concept that I wish would have gotten more of a tune up. Not bad, but far from the best.
