Charbroil Pro Series with Amplifire Infrared Technology 4-Burner Propane Gas Grill Cabinet with Side Burner, Black - 463281024

Our old Charbroil Infrared grill was 14 years old and was finally needing to be replaced. Best grill we've ever had, got to 700 degrees and made great steaks. But I was considering going charcoal this time for the flavor. But wow, what a hassle. During the week we don't have time for that. When I came across THIS grill, it was the answer to every problem. We have a Blackstone, but here we could grill our veggies on half the grill using the griddle while cooking the steaks on the other part using the super high heat Infrared grill grates! AND, when we have time to mess with it, we can also do CHARCOAL! We did use the charcoal last night and it was fantastic! Today after it had cooled, I just lifted the charcoal tray out of the grill and dumped it in the trash. BOOM! Fastest charcoal cleanup I've ever had in my life. And the steaks cooked on it were outstanding. We put it together ourselves and the build quality is excellent. 4 burner, perfect size. Ignitors all working perfectly. We bought the Charbroil gas conversion kit and have it hooked up to our patio natural gas connection. Grill hit 750 degrees before we threw the steaks on. I know the snobby crowd loves bashing Charbroil and saying everyone should buy a Weber. But I'm convinced they only know about the cheap $150 Charbroil grills. Maybe THOSE don't last very long. I don't know. I just know I still have my 14 year old grill on the patio sitting next to my new one. Charbroil has done well for my family. Here is to the next 14 years of great food!

Grill is heavy and very versatile. This grill is excellent if you don’t want to buy all separate different grill accessories. I am very pleased with my purchase. I would highly recommend.

Third Charbroil grill that I have bought because of the Amplifire Infrared design. No flame ups and it spreads the heat out evenly across the grill. This was the first Pro Series. It's easy to assemble and has a heavy steel construction which make it seem that it will withstand time. So far I happy with product. One complaint that I do have is it arrived damaged but I don't hold this against Charboil since it appeared to happen by Amazons shipper. The front of the lower shelf was dented the box appeared that it had been dropped when it was left on the stairs. I didn't report it because I was entertaining that weekend and was need of the grill. The grill preformed great. I just have to look at that dent every time I use it.

Love it! I was able to fit 10 ribeyes on it. Perfect for family get togethers. No flare ups until the end when I was taking them off the grill. Cooked perfectly. Assembly was tricky at the end… the design has some flaws, but well worth the money.

I bought this grill because I have had a Charbroil infrared grill before and it is a great grill that keeps food moist and doesn't flare up. The charcoal heats up (but took twice as long as recommended) well and cooks great. You just can't adjust the grate heights to lessen heat. But charcoal was easy to clean up because I just took the pans out and dumped them in the garbage can. The griddle cooks extremely well and is of a good size. 17x20. It took a few hours to put together and the instruction book leaves a bit to be desired because it doesn't completely explain how to put it together. I really like this grill and would buy it all over again.

This unit is certainly pricey but it’s worth every penny. I hate that it took me so long to pull the trigger on it. Pretty easy to assemble but the real magic is how well it works. I’ve used it for a few months and I cook on it probably 2-3 times a week. Perfect burgers and steaks in under 10 min. Heats up quick, even heat distribution, wife loves not having to cook as much now :)

As others have said this grill is not worth the price. It absolutely does NOT have an infrared heating element. It has cheap aluminum inserts that act as heat diffusers.. yes it can reach fairly high temperatures quickly but with these installed it's impossible to keep temperature from being excessive. Like 700 degrees. Cleanup is terrible. The griddle is nice but is way too large and cumbersome to clean. Also must be seasoned. I seasoned mine like I do all cast iron and it is still rusting after 2 months. Set up is also atrocious. Seriously set aside an afternoon and good luck getting the handle on without losing screws between the thin aluminum shield and top. I've purchased other mid-range grills in the past from other brands that were much nicer and simple to set up. This grill is a waste of time and money. Customer service was not much help. Offered to have someone pick the grill up but scheduled on a day I told them I couldn't be home. Adding to this... the Gas2aCoal inserts are too wide to use with the griddle.. terrible design flaw. I like the idea of the charcoal inserts but without having the ability to use with the griddle makes them useless to me. Again, 0/5 if possible.
