**Q: Will this product hold up while doing burpees and such. The ones I have now are very cheap and when I push off the interlock part seperates.**
A: These are good to protects floors from barbell workouts, but they slip on (my) hardwood floors and separate with cardio movements like burpees.

**Q: Can somebody tell me the room diemensions that this would fit**
A: Ok, this is going to involve math. :)

The tiles are two feet by two feet.  That's 4 square feet, so take the number of square feet in the package, and divide by 4.  The 96 square feet package, for example, is 96/4=24.  Thus, there are 24 tiles in the 96 square foot package.  Measure the length and width of your room.  If you don't want to cut a tile, round the length *down* to the  nearest two feet.  If your room is 13 feet 7 inches, round down to 12 feet.  Then, since each tile is two feet square, divide that by two.  You'll be able to fit up to six tiles along that 13 foot 7 inch wall without cutting anything.  Do the same for the other wall.  If you can fit six tiles along one wall, and four tiles along the other, you can fit up to 24 tiles in the room without cutting.

If you instead want to cut the edges off of some tiles and go full wall-to-wall, round *up* to the nearest even number instead.  So, that 13 foot 7 wall would round up to 14 instead.  The rest of the procedure is identical with the dividing by two, measuring the other wall, etc.

**Q: Are these textured on both sides? Or is one side smooth?**
A: It seems the answer depends on the thickness you buy. I bought the 96 square feet 3/4 inch thick one and it is textured on both sides.

**Q: Would these work well for soundproofing? I live in an upstairs apartment, looking to workout without bothering my downstairs neighbors.**
A: These are very good quality and think they would work well for you.

​These foam mats are excellent. They lock together seamlessly and are very easy to install. I was especially impressed by the border pieces; I was able to connect the giant pile of unused edge strips to fill the gaps around the perimeter, allowing the mats to lay perfectly flush against the walls for a clean, professional finish. We purchased two sets and it was enough for our house project. We will get more for our future projects.These can be cut into any shape for custom layouts, with a regular pair of sharp scissors and strong hands.We noticed a rubber/chemical like smell the first day after install but it faded quickly and now it doesn't smell like anything. The surface cleans up nicely if you spill something on them and can be easily lifted/separated for further under cleaning.It also helps with sound deadening.

Well, let me start by saying I didnt order these for working out! We have a 11 yr old lab with arthitis and jumping up and down off the couch and bed are proving to be more difficult as she gets older. We have wood floors in one area, and carpet in the other. We thought she needed a little "boost" to help her on/off of things and these being 1 inch thick was a big bonus! They do have some give but not a lot so she'll feel stable.So, they arrived just now, I hooked 2 together and then 2 more to make a square. I put it in front of the love seat and she immediately hopped up on it with very little problem! My husband looked at me and said "Worth EVERY penny!!!!"... .Now, I have a LOT more of these and will go place them around the bottom of our bed so she wont have to hit the hard floors when jumping down.These mat pieces are large, 24 inches, and they are textured which is nice for traction! They press together very nicely where you barely see the seam. I'm completely impressed. For our purpose these are PERFECT. And to be honest, they'd be GREAT for yoga, working out, kids area, etc.The shipping was so fast when we got the notification we had a package, I was shocked it was these!! I just ordered them 2 days ago!!!Thanks for a great product that fits our needs perfectly!
