iGaging Layout Square Mark II Set of Two 7" & 12" w/Center Finder Bevel Gauge

iGaging has a growing reputation for being extremely accurate and well made at a much lower cost than Woodpecker measuring tools. These layout squares came in a nice blow molded plastic case and include a mechanical pencil with a set of 0.7 mm spare lead. The blades include inch measurements and angle markings. They will help in my wood projects in marking both squares and angles. I am pleased to have very accurate measurements at an affordable cost.

Great value and comparable accuracy to Woodpeckers brand. Appreciate the thoughtful design, magnets on bottom, clear markings, and easy of use. I use these squares frequently.

EDIT: Received a replacement set, the 12" wasn't bent this time but the 2 weren't square to each other and the measurements were off by ~1/32" over 4 inches, similar to the first set. I looked at this brand because of a Youtube review saying they were as good as Woodpeckers but half the cost, my next stop is the comment section of that Youtube video. The 12" square that I was sent as part of this set is visibly bent, when placed next to the 7" you can see it clear as day making the 2 squares dimensionally inconsistent with each other. If anyone had bothered to look at this set before they shipped it out they would've noticed this issue and presumably swapped the 12" for a good one. Also, you're buying from igaging directly so the return is going to be more of a pain than if you bought directly from Amazon, can't recommend this brand, sorry.

excellent accuracy, looks nice and easy to read, features like angle measurement are a plus. the through holes for marking are really the thing I may use most. Just a well made essential tool. throw away anything that is not this good.

7" square is ok, but the 12" square is way off. This seems to be a pattern with iGaging products. I bought their 6" and 12" combination squares a while back. The 6" combo square is fairly accurate, but the 12" is seriously out of square. I figured the layout square would be safe, as there's no moving parts. I was wrong. The 12" layout square is off badly enough that a line struck with it deviates by around 3/32" over a foot.

I really appreciate accuracy in my workshop. I have been looking for these iGAging Layout Squares. Some of the other brands are too expensive for me to purchase.
