Well designed
This is great - saves from having to buy ice blocks AND more importantly the homemade blocks last longer than bought ones. I have long suspected that commercial operators somehow pump air into their ice while it is freezing which makes it lighter and quicker to melt. The blocks from this mold are smaller than commercial ones but last longer, in the same cooler. The design is great, it has reinforcing so I can fill it and it holds its shape while I carry downstairs to the freezer (ie, doesn't collapse and get water all over the floor). Recommended

These are great
This is the perfect size to toss into the yeti when weโre on the boat. I freeze ahead of time multiple blocks and depending on which cooler we bring out, I toss in 1-5. They stay frozen and last a long time. Next I plan to use the large block like a souper cube and freeze a large batch of soup before food saver-ing as well.

Great size for making ice for the cooler this ice should last quite awhile on a camping trip. Not awkward to fill or place in freezer.
