Furinno Econ Multipurpose Computer Writing Desk, Light Cherry/Black

Pretty decent desk, especially for the price! It took a little extra brain power to build as they did not provide the best instructions but I figured it out relatively easily. (No words, just pics) One of the first sections of instructions showed the holes on the wrong side so I was concerned they were drilled wrong but I skipped ahead a little bit and found that the picture was just incorrect. Someone that is not as proficient (I am not a pro by any means but have some experience with these project pieces) in building these types of things would likely have given up and returned it though, so if you question the instructions, try looking ahead to see if it is just an error. Also, I saw a review say that one of the sliders for the keyboard tray was not right (there was a missing bend) and it actually was not missing. It was intentionally left straight so you could take the tray out later if needed. If it was bent like the other side, you would have to take the desk apart to get the tray out. The only real complaint I have is the packaging. Several pieces of the styrofoam were busted so I had a snowstorm in my box. I literally had to spray and wipe down every piece I took out, as it was covered in styrofoam balls. Took forever to clean up enough that I could build it. Otherwise, I received a great product and the price was incomparable. Love Amazon warehouse deals!!

This desk works. It does. It holds a computer, speakers, and a fair bit of random desk stuff. But make no mistake, it absolutely MUST be against a wall. It has the absolute thinnest wood and the least amount of materials necessary to hold it together and do its job, *and that is it*. The pressed wood is half an inch thick. It's short. The main area that the monitor sits on is 27 1/2" high. The piece that pulls out for the keyboard is exactly TWO FEET from the floor. To use it I have to sit in an old folding lawn chair. None of our regular desk chairs or dining chairs is short enough. It's flimsy to the point that you CANNOT lean on it. It would break under any real pressure at all. Getting up from the chair I'm careful to only press down on the chair itself. Any pressure on the desk would break it or make it collapse, and I weigh 137 lbs. I would not recommend this desk to an adult. You're better off using a folding table.

When I opened the box everything was really neatly labeled and numbered for me. The only downside was one of the boards was already cracked but it didn’t affect the build of the desk. I built the desk by my self and it was really easy to do, it took me maybe 45 minutes. The desk fits perfectly into the little space between my bookshelf and the wall, and I’ve been using it without any problem since I put it together. It is a really small desk (which is what I wanted) so be sure to check the dimensions before buying.

This desk is like one from Ikea but with worse directions and thin particle board. The drawer mechanism is not labeled properly so of the two I bought, neither have a functioning drawer. While assembling it, the horizontal cross pieces become very unstable and in my case, ripped right out, tearing the particle board. Thankfully I’ve got engineering skills and a glue gun and duct tape! So the first desk is wobbly but the second one I used wood glue along with the screws and it seems stable. They are SMALL. My 5th graders fit but my 8th grade boy is squished a bit. It would be tight if you had a monitor and the tower. We are using them for school though so if they get destroyed in a year I will upgrade to something “durable”...from Ikea.

This is my 3rd desk from this specific company (the first two were larger). All three have been damaged, this one is no different. This product does not advise the weight limit which is 10-15 lbs. My cricut is 11 lbs itself. This is not worth the price, spend the extra $30 and get a quality desk. I will be returning this product as well asap and avoid ANY and ALL products from this company. Each attached photo is a different piece, meaning a different piece is damaged. I wouldn’t accept this desk if it was free based on just that. The only positive it that is WILL fit a very small space as needed.

I saw a lot of negative reviews on this. However, I decided to go ahead and purchase. I am glad I did. Yes it is not a high end product, but you are not paying for high end. I just wanted something small and fairly lightweight. The instructions are easy to follow, they also have an instructional video on the Amazon link. I am not using as a computer desk however, so I cannot say how well it works for that. I am using it as a makeup vanity and it is working beautifully for me. I store nail stuff in the bottom left shelf, hair stuff in the middle left shelf, my make up organizer is on the top left platform. My lighted mirror, curling iron and hair dryer are on the main platform. Last but not least my brushes, etc on the keyboard shelf. Now my husband and son don't have to put up with all my junk in the bathroom and waiting for me to get done. They are happy, I am happy. Love it!!

Just moved into a small space and bought 2 of these due to reviews stating that they are small but sturdy. Kinda sturdy for the price I guess, took 2 hours each to put together. The stickers "side A" etc were all over the top of the desk and shelves and pulled up the thin paper finish making ugly torn marks on the new desks instead of peeling off clean. All that work and disappointment with ruined finish on tops of desks and just a waste of time and money. We gave them away to childen of co-workers. Other reviewer said child's desk. This truly truly is. We are only 5'2" and 5'6" and so thought ok, small desk... but no, they are very short also super short tiny flimsy desks not at all comfortable for an adult even 5'2".

Small and compact. Just right for the space I needed it in. My pc is much too large to fit in either slot but can easily fit on top. Keyboard shelf slides out easily.

I wouLd say that expext atLeast 1 hour to assembLe the tabLe. For peopLe whose not that famiLLar with assembLing furnitures Like this it might give you a hard time assembLing it.,not that compLicated to assembLe but needs effort. Also make sure to read the measurements, its a bit Low for an office desk, for kids and teenagers whose hight are not more than 5'5 this is good.
