This book seemed very promising. Of course he didn’t really get into it until the end of summer when he grinded for about two weeks getting through almost half the book (really focusing on level 4 questions). He felt pretty confident after this (and thankfully they structure the book where most used topics are in the beginning). Well he took the September SATs and got a 790 math! So yes the book was a very good investment for us, esp. if you have a kid who really wants that top score. Review: Really useful book and even better combined with web site - I found the authors of this book while looking on YouTube for resources to help my son study for the PSAT and SAT. The author had some very impressive videos of going through real College Board practice SATs in real time (taking the timed practice tests just as a student would), solving every problem correctly, and still having time to explain a brief version of their methods. That led me to the author's web site which linked to desertcart where I purchased this book. This was the best resource I found for looking at the basics of the math on the SAT and progressing from the foundations of each topic to how to solve even the hardest problems. With this book as a basis, my son did extremely well on his PSAT and SAT and we were very happy with the preparation that this book (and the authors associated web site) provided. I initially bought the paper copy but later also bought the PDF version of the book to have a more portable version that could be read on a laptop. I want to also mention that, while I find this book a great SAT math resource on its own, it is even more useful when combined with the math part of the authors website: www.preppros.io. The book shows how to do solve problems for each topic and gives lots of practice problems with an answer key. But often, when we went through the practice problems, when we got one wrong, it took a while to figure out our mistake. But the web site also includes the authors method for solving EACH practice problem. Since there are many ways to solve most math problems, doing each problem and then seeing how the author solves the same problem gave a LOT of insight into the fastest and simplest ways to solve SAT math problems. Speed and efficiency are pretty much the most important part of solving SAT math problems, so I found the supporting 'how I solve it' insights from the author to be priceless in understanding how to solve each problem and when to solve by hand vs when to use the built-in SAT calculator (DESMOS). NOTE the author's web site is a monthly paid web site. We used the book first and then used the paid site for a month to see how the author solved the problems in the book as well as how they solved the problems on College Board practice SAT tests. I highly recommend the book alone as a great SAT resource that is made even better when supplemented by the (paid) web site.

Great for kids who want top math score
Bought this book after son had taken March SATs and had a 720 math. Really needed a way to tackle high end math questions as he knows the basics. This book seemed very promising. Of course he didn’t really get into it until the end of summer when he grinded for about two weeks getting through almost half the book (really focusing on level 4 questions). Great way to structure SAT prep
This course came highly recommended and it is helping my son raise his score. It has made him more familiar with the DESMOS calculator and how to utilize it to save time on each problem in the SAT. It, paired with the $19.99 course seems to be the right amount of structure for my son. Check out the free trial of the course first. I think the book could be enough for some. The video lessons paired with the book have been a game changer. I also like the structure of the book. It lays out what will help each level student get to the next level score on the SAT.

Worth getting!
This is a pretty stellar book and is very indepth within the 36 total chapters. There is an option to purchase access to videos that describe each of the 1500 problems, but I used several math apps instead, as a challenge to solve most of the hardest problems by trial and error. I highly recommend this book for those who want to prep or just learn math on a higher level.

Best and Most Comprehensive SAT Math Book
This book is definitely the best written and most comprehensive SAT math book out there. My superscore for math is 760. While that is a great math score, with the well written content of the book, I could have scored much higher if it had not been for some personal issues with intense test anxiety. The book fully encompasses math to the highest level that you will encounter on the exam, and the explanations are extremely well done and can be easily understood by anyone, even of the lowest math background. I highly recommend Mike Stroup's video course on his website https://www.preppros.io that shows step by step how to solve the homework problems. What is also great is that each of his simple but genius strategies can be used on a wide array of complex problems faced on the test. So learning his strategies will ensure a top math score. I also definitely highly recommend his entire Digital SAT course, as I believe there is no other way to achieve in the 1500's or higher (I scored a 1500 in 4 weeks).

A great book to study for SAT
We bought this book for my daughter for SAT prep. She found this book very helpful, a great upgrade after she used the Panda Math for SAT - simple and clear, very easy to read for kids. This book provides detailed explanations of different approaches to a question. Furthermore, what makes this book unique is its difficulty ranking system, which makes targeted practice very straightforward and easy to follow. At the end of each chapter, there is a good bank of variety of questions for practice. Unlike other SAT books, this book doesn't waste students' study time. My daughter said the questions in this book showed up verbatim on her SAT test. She scored a 1510, and this book really helped with her math. I highly recommend this book to everyone who is trying to score above 750 on the math section.
