Will not stay connected
This is the proper remote for my xiaomi mibox S . However the thing will not stay connected and constantly needs to be reconnected to the mi box by holding down two buttons and putting it close to the box. I'd recommend going with a different listing or trying a different solution to your dying xiaomi mi box remote. And yes I'm using high quality batteries and yes my me box is completely up to date.

Kills Batteries
Since we've purchased this remote, it is blowing through batteries. Have to replace the batteries weekly. Also, it has a hard time syncing up with the device.

Honest review after 1 month of use. Very poor quality. Better don't buy. 1: disconnect automatically, then you need to remove battery and insert again and it connects. 2: Keyboard quality is worst. You need to apply about 20kg equivalent force to press a button. Kids can not use this. 3: Mic is worst, never picks what you say.
