This book had my laughing my head off and I just could not put it down. It was one of those books that I was up until all hours of the morning, holding my mouth, trying not to wake everyone with laughter. Kiki absolutely tears her characters to shreds its so funny.The romance between these two is so sweet and will warm any heart out there. The kids are just brilliant also.The sex scenes are wonderful as you would expect. The ending was weird but I liked it, though it took a while to get my head around. It was just an unexpected kind of twist at the end.Favourite part? Oh my god I don't think I could pick one there are so many. Racing around Italy after some old "Irish?" narky homophobic bat in peddle cards. The Anne Summers store had me reading behind my fingers and the part with the tunnel had my gasping and dying for these two to get together.I will certainly bee keeping this one in my collection and will look forward to reading it again.This is an absolute keeper and will be keeping a close eye on this writer in the future. Oh my god so funny.Fully recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clear your schedule... *by M***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 13 June 2015* If you haven't read a book by Kiki Archer before this is my best advice to you. Last year I discovered this hilariously witty and relatable author and have spent many night nights reading until the dawn chorus or stuck with my nose in my reading apps while I should be concentrating at work.This book certainly doesn't disappoint. I started the book feeling a strange affinity with our main girl Connie despite the fact that I'm not a straight mom of a toddler. It's a real skill to draw me in so easily. I have no idea how Kiki does it.The two main characters have an amazing chemistry that leaps off the pages with page after page of dialog filled with banter, sharp wit and innuendo. If that doesn't get you frantically turning through the pages I don't know what will.The comedy in this is brilliant, I stayed up all night reading and found myself chuckling away out loud (legitimate LOLing) and at one point cackling with laughter around 4am when I got to the changing room scene.Kiki's books are works of wonderful lesbian chick-lit that really feed the hopeless romantic in me. I've been guilty of many rereads and I'm sure 'Too late... I love you' will be no enjoyed many more times by me. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Ok *by S***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 30 September 2020* Nice romance and good description as ever from this author. As a reader I was drawn in to their connection but then as the story unfolded and (SPOILER Alert) they finally had sex, that night of sex was not written about in the narrative? I hated turning the page to find out that it was the next morning! Also Connie was annoying and so full of persistent insecurites and self pity, if I was Maria I would have lost patience a long time ago. I also found the descriptions of the other mums in the playgroup a bit mean and judgey.
