Does the job well
Does the intended job fine. Transfer speeds are meet the standard of the HBA used. The braided sheathing helps with management of the cables in the case & the inner cables that attach to each of the SATA drive connectors seem up to the job of routing round corners without having to force them.The data connectors clip securely into the drives SATA interfaces, clip in snug and have no fear of them coming away when in use.

Perfect cables for an LSI RAID setup
Picked these up to go with a second hand LSI card that didn’t come with any cables, and they’ve been spot on. I’m running an 8 drive RAID array and these did exactly what I needed with zero fuss.The cables themselves are nice and thin which actually made routing them around my custom build much easier, but they still feel solid and well put together. The braided section adds a bit of protection and keeps things tidy, which I appreciated given how tight my case layout is.Each SATA breakout had enough length to comfortably reach all my drive bays without stretching or awkward bends. Everything linked up first time and I’ve tested transfers at full 6Gbps speeds with no issues at all.Overall, just a reliable set of cables that do exactly what they should. Would happily buy again.

Just what I needed to replace the existing cables in my R720.
I needed these so I could connect a dedicated HBA to the drive enclosures in a Dell R720 server as the existing cables use a propriety combined WIDE SAS connector to connect the two backplanes to a single SAS connector on H300 mini.These are exactly the correct length to go from the two drive backplanes to the low profile PCIe slots.Quality is good, and even comes with warranty by the manufacturers.

You'd think these would be fragile, but they've really held up!
The way I have these routed through my case and connected to the drives, I keep being amazed that they have held up with all the bends and twists, but they are really nice cables. I have four of them and all work perfectly - which is why I kept buying them.

Check if you really have the correct SAS connector before buying, there are good guides for that.
High price but not overpriced, works exactly how it should and my best guess on the "Frequently returned item" status is people buying the wrong item.It works great with the HPE 240 as FYISupports: Linux, UNIX, BSD, Proxmox, Debian, Windows 10, Windows 7.
