The peppered flavor is my husband's absolute favorite, while I tend to prefer the original. We've also tried the jalapeño variety. My husband usually likes foods with a lot of heat, but he didn't think the jalapeño was spicy enough to replace the peppered version as his favorite. I was able to enjoy it too, so I'd describe it as a pretty mild jalapeño flavor rather than a really spicy one. The quality is consistently good, and it's become our go-to high-protein snack. The flavor is excellent, with a great smoky taste and just the right amount of pepper. The seasoning adds a nice kick without overpowering the beef flavor. The texture is also great—not too soft and not overly tough like some other jerky. This has become one of my favorite snacks because it tastes great and is an easy source of protein when I need something quick. I highly recommend it and will continue buying it.
