100% Recommend
Just got these today, and within the first hour of using them I could already tell they were worth the money. The active noise cancellation works surprisingly well and makes a huge difference in a noisy environment. The sound quality has been great so far, and overall these earbuds feel like a high-quality product. The hooks help keep them secure, so they stay in place and don’t fall out easily, while still being comfortable to wear. The Soundcore app also works great, and my firmware was already up to date right out of the box. I live in a noisy household, so good noise cancellation is a must for me. I mainly plan to use them for college lectures and music, and based on my first impressions they seem like they’ll be perfect for both. They do a great job reducing distractions so I can focus. Very impressed so far.

Solid earbuds at a reasonable price
I got these earbuds because of some reviews I had read. I was skeptical and didn’t really have high expectations for them. I was very impressed with them once I got them setup the way I wanted. I’ll break down what I was looking for, what it offered, and the quality. Buttons/controls: I hate touch sensor earbuds. I work at the Post Office and have a business/walking route that has 6mi of walking every day. I get sweaty. I throw sopping wet towels soaked in ice water on my head to keep cool. Touch sensor anything is a nightmare. It has a tactile button on each earbud. These controls can be customized how you like. I chose to have volume up/down for 1 click, next/previous track for the double click, and pause/play for the long hold. The app has a lot of different options to set it up exactly how you want. Waterproofing: like I said above, I sweat and dump ice water in my head. I need waterproof and this seems like it’s what I’m looking for IPX6 waterproof rating is only slightly less than my JBL Flip 5 and it’s taken a tumble into the river. It’s still working to this day. I’ll update this post if the waterproofing isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Fit/feel: I wore them all day today and they’re extremely comfortable. They have different size tips to fit your ear canal. It was a little weird getting use to putting them in compared to the regular ones you just put in your ear. This is a loop that goes over the top of your ear to help stabilize them while you work out or walk your route. Setup and connectivity: The setup took a little bit to get through, but it was simple and straightforward. Getting it synced with my phone was a breeze. The app helped me setup the earbuds and get them operating how I like them. Houses that interfered with past earbuds didn’t even cause the soundcores to skip a beat today. I had no sync issues between the earbuds, and no disconnects. Volume and sounds quality: I’ve had Bose, Sony, Raycon, and just about any other brand out there. The sound quality is great. I would put it on par with the Bose quiet comforts (gen 1). The bass is actually a little bit on the heavy side. You can change EQ settings on the phone, or customize the EQ through the app to get the perfect sound. The noise cancelling actually does really well, even in my loud mail truck. It has normal mode that doesn’t do anything to cancel or embellish sound. The full transparency mode allows you to hear your surrounding much better while listening to your music or whatever. All three modes seems to do really well. No issues at all with them. Call Quality: I did make a couple calls today. I could hear fine. The person I was on the phone with didn’t have any issues hearing me. You cannot change the controls for answering/disconnecting calls. Not that you really need to, just FYI. Battery Life: after listening to a mix of music and podcasts for 3 hours, I barely made a dent in the earbuds battery. I haven’t had a chance to run them all the way down yet, but based on what I saw the battery life seems pretty solid. The charging case is supposed to get up to 48hrs. Based on the consumption rate I saw today, that does seem accurate. Time will tell on that. Honestly, I can’t think of anything that I can complain about. It’s an $80 earbud, that is waterproof, tactile buttons, and made for excessive movement. The sound quality out of the box is great and you can customize it even further. It has every single option I was looking for, it gives you way more than that, and then does it really well. I’m a big fan so far.

Does everything it needs to do VERY WELL and doesn’t sacrifice anything for useless features.
First time pair is easy, and then after that it connects to your phone instantly as soon as you take them out as it should be. I keep one earbud in for my entire 8 hour shift and it’s not even dead by then. I’ve had these earbuds for like 2 weeks now and I don’t think I’ve even charged the case yet the battery life on these things is LEGENDARY!!! The sound quality is truly amazing. I’m no audiophile but I do enjoy music that kinda requires good sound quality for the song to sound good like rap music and EDM and it makes my music sound AMAZING. The bass is good by default but you can even turn the bass up in the soundcore app. And the sound cancelling is really good to and there’s even a wind sound cancelling mode that actually works very well it makes my outside smoke sessions VERY immersive and it’s ALWAYS windy where I am because I live on the coast. And the fit is amazing I put on the large ear rubbers and they go in and never come out because of the little hook. Another thing is that I’ve had a 200 dollar pair of hook earbuds that after long use made the top of my ears where the hook rests start to itch and form a crust. This earbuds hook is very gentle but still keeps the earbuds in. And I also appreciate how the multifunction button isn’t the flat side of the earbud like every other brand does nowadays. There’s a little button on the side of the earbud you press with a very satisfying click so when you’re adjusting the earbuds you’re not accidentally skipping a song or something. If you’re on the ropes about this pair of earbuds, GET THEM!!! I will absolutely use these until they can’t be used anymore. This is the happiest I’ve ever been with a pair of wireless earbuds EVER!! I will never open up my drawer full of random wireless earbuds again lol.

Not bad at all for the price point
I wasn’t expecting much from these but after paying nearly $200 for beats powerpro just before these, it wasnt s high bar to beat (pun intended). It would be nice to know what the charge level is, or if they are charging in the case, those are the 2 main drawbacks to these. However fit, sound quality, noise cancellation all earn great marks. I use these almost daily in a very dirty work environment doing metal fab, welding, grinding etc and they have held up well! I am now starting to have issues with them but i have been rocking these things WAY longer than anything i had before them (minus corded models). I say features could be a little better for the money, but in the end these are comfortable, reliable and worth the investment.

Good for Noisy Gym
The Soundcore products are made better by the app. The Sport X20 which I had read did not have volume controls on the earbuds themselves can be programmed by the app to have volume controlled on the earbud. So yes it does not come natively with volume control on the earbud but with the app that can be changed quite easily. Not sure what genius thought volume control wouldn't be good to control on the earbud. I mean when working out it is much easier to touch the earbud to change volume than to drag the phone out to do it. For starters let me say I have been using Soundcore P30i which is an excellent earbud but I would have them occasionally fall out at the gym so I have been on the lookout for a hook model. I tried a different brand because of high ratings and a much cheaper price. That model had virtually no noise cancellation which for me is a deal killer because I wear them at a noisy gym. So I reflected that the P30i has excellent noise cancellation and although the Soundcore Sport X20 was more than I wanted to pay at $55 I gave it a try. Let me say it is totally worth it on several levels. I have become accustomed to judging any Amazon product by the reviews when deciding what to buy. In this instance that didn't prove to be the answer. Anker and Soundcore are seriously good products and while the rating on this model was lower the actual experience for me was exactly the opposite. This Sport X20 deserves 5 stars BUT only if you use the app to achieve full potential. Most important is noise cancellation and thanks to the app you have many options. You can choose adaptive cancellation or manual cancellation and within those set the level of cancellation from weak to strong. The Soundcore app is genius. If you are going to use the Sport X20 and not bother to download the app you are wasting your time and money. The app will give you a hearing test, allow you to combine that with one of the preloaded programs or allow you to make a custom equalizer. You can turn on the 3D surround sound which transforms the earbud into a great earbud. If you don't use 3D surround sound you have not touched the capabilities. Another genius setting that can only be set within the app is to turn the Wind Noise Reduction on. It actually works well for those days you are outside and the wind is blowing. I leave it on all the time. Here is an example of how I currently have my earbud buttons set thanks to the app. LEFT single press volume down, double press previous , long press change the ambient sound i.e. noise cancellation. RIGHT single press play/pause, double press volume up, and long press next song. There are 5 programmable things for each earbud. Each earbud can actually only be programmed for 3 things. SO with 6 button choices and 5 programmable items you can program everything possible. The phone call operation is not programmable and is separate. I only have made one phone call and it was good. While I am on the button on the earbud I will say that I do like a button over a tap but at the same time this particular button is in a bit of an awkward location. I am adjusting to it, there is a learning curve. As to comfort and fit this hook model is head and shoulders above another manufacturer I had tried where the tip didn't actually go inside the ear canal. This X20 has a very soft and expandable hook and an articulating earbud so it can go inside your ear canal and that blocks out a lot of external noise. They provide you with more earbud tip sizes than the other model also. Interestingly enough I ended up with it fitting so good that it's actually a little hard to take off. At least there is zero probability that I will have one fall off. The softness and fit are so good that you truly don't realize you have them on and in. After a few hours with them in and then when they are out I find myself reaching up to touch my ear to verify that they are out. Sound quality is excellent ESPECIALLY and ONLY when programmed on the app to your hearing and what you enjoy. Most of these earbud manufacturers boast about how powerful their bass is and I'm a guy that doesn't enjoy strong bass so it's wonderful to be able, using the app, to get the EXACT sound that I enjoy. Clarity is outstanding. The white ones look very classy. Bottom line these are top of the line and the app can transform these into earbuds you will be in love with. Honestly I would give the earbuds alone a 4 star rating and with the app if I could I would give them a 6 star rating.

6 months in, issues already
When I first got these, they were great. Had a phenomenal experience with a cheaper Anker model before these, couldn't find anything quite as good for the price after trying multiple headphone brands, decided to get these and was immediately impressed. People could hear me very clearly on phone calls. The sound quality for music is fantastic, they charge super fast, they stay in my ear quite well, the active noise cancelling is very well done... All in all, these were absolutely amazing for the price. They have a LOT going for them. Main issues now come from longevity problems, which is why I do not give it the 5 stars I want to give. I was hoping to get a solid couple of years out of these... The left head piece, which I use constantly throughout my work days, for some reason won't dock properly in the case on a regular basis, causing it to not only not charge, but to remain connected to my phone. I'll push it in, and it just won't stay fully seated at times on the charging points. I can finagle with it and it starts charging, but this is irritating to me. Cleaning the charging points lightly to clear grime or debris does not help. The right headphone, despite being used relatively infrequently compared to the left, is dropping connection audio repeatedly now over the last two days to the point of being practically unusable. I had a cheaper Anker headset that went through much more stress and lasted nearly two years before it started having issues, so I am really surprised and disappointed to see these more expensive ones fail. I really like all the features - the over the ear design they have is one of the most comfortable I have ever worn, and every other feature about them is deeply impressive. I want to buy another set to replace them, but now I'm worried it'll just break in 6 months again.

Excellent sound and excellent customer service
I was looking for good earbuds to use for the gym. Criteria were good sound, good fit, and good bluetooth connection. I tried a number of earbuds but the Soundcore Sport X20 won out over all the competition (including a few which were significantly more expensive). Firstly, the ear hooks are a key feature to keep the ear buds in place during exercise and movement. My previous (much more expensive) ear buds would often fall out during workouts. These never do. Secondly, the bluetooth connectivity is solid and there are no connectivity issues with the buds failing to connect or manually futzing about with connection menus. Thirdly (and perhaps most importantly) the sound quality is surprisingly top notch, equal to ear buds costing 4 or 5 times the price. I tried other 'workout friendly"' ear buds in the same price range and none of them even came close in terms of sound quality (which is rich and full with good extension on both frequency extremes and a solid midrange). Lastly, Soundcore/Anker's customer service is absolutely incredible, perhaps the best I've ever experienced from any consumer product provider. If you have customer service queries and email them they respond within the hour, day or night, weekday or weekend which I found absolutely incredible. I lost sound in one earbud after about 8 months (perhaps I dropped it at some point?) and they sent a brand new replacement after only asking a few basic questions. I believe the warranty is 18 months and clearly the stand by their products. Cons: at one point the two ear buds lost contact with each other so only one would work at a time. No matter: an email and quick response swiftly fixed the issue (simply a matter of resetting the ear buds, a 10 second operation). Some listeners may also find the sound a bit bass heavy. That's great for dance or rock music in the gym but if you're listening to acoustic or vocal music and the bass is too much you can simply tone it down either with the tone controls/equalization on your device or on the buds themselves via the Soundcore app. Heartily recommended.

Perfection and quality minus severe disconnectivity issues
I was having such bad connectivity issues (specifically where I was wearing them and suddenly they would unpair by themselves with no sound alert or warning of any kind), even while fully charged. It was so problematic that I had it replaced, and unfortunately the new one I got does that too so it's not just a fluke. So I can't use this for gaming or action stuff that I can't pause and select it for reconnection on my bluetooth screen. Most of the time I'm talking on the phone or in voice chat with these snd since what I hear doesn't change when it disconnects, I don't even know it has disconnected unless I hear the other person on the end yelling loud enough that I can hear it from my phone through the earbuds still in my ear. Sometimes it doesn't want to reconnect immediately, sometimes it does. This also means I'm always paranoid when using them at the gym too because if my music/podcast/audiobook suddenly stops playing on these, it plays out loud directly from my phone, like it does using the phone talk or on discord. Actually literally last week, after using these for 3 months even with the connectivity issues, I heard a beeping sound series of notes play before it disconnected (not dead, just disconnected) and I've literally never heard that sound before so idk what's up with that. Otherwise, I actually really love these and I'm so upset about the connectivity issues because they would be 1000% perfect otherwise. They are very comfy, they have never fallen out of my hear even at the gym. The noise cancelling quality is AMAZING, and only the really loud things and certain frequencies like a close leafblower and stuff will get through a tiny bit, but the noise cancelling is super impressive. The sound quality is great. The buttons are not positioned in a way like with some other bluetooth earbud like things where the button is on the outside and to press it you have to shove it further into your ear for the button to press down. These buttons are on the front of the plastic piece so you don't press it further into your ear to get it to click. The fit in the case easy, they charge fast and last for a VERY long time. It doesn't feel like hard plastic sitting in your ear or wrapping around the top. The while color has held up through frequent use as well.

Good sound quality
Amazing quality! The build feels premium and durable, and the sound is excellent with clear, rich audio and also noise cancellation works well. They stay securely in my ears even while running or playing sports, and they’re very comfortable to wear for extended periods. Highly recommended as I was impressed
