Used these on surround sound speaker wires that attach to the back of a receiver. The wires are small and stranded and messy to install. Especially working behind an entertainment center with low light and minimal space. Using these ferrules were extremely easy to install with the provided crimping tool and allowed for a cleaner, more solid connection.

Never one to typically use ferrules but as I'm doing more and more I decided to give it a shot. Wiring up on an inverter today and wanted to use ferrules for mainly 10 and 8ga wires. It worked great out of the box with no adjustments. The crimper is as simple as can be and the included ferrules are considerably sturdier than I thought. Did wish that they sold larger packs for larger gauge wire but those can be supplemented elsewhere. Best thing that Im finding is the racheting action, the handles are not great for my hands but the action locks it in till you can reposition and squeeze the rest of the way. As you can see in the pictures, it functions as it's claimed, not a perfect crimp with even pressure, you can tell from the deformation leading to an uneven squished square. But overall for at least screw style terminals it's great. I will be using this for the foreseeable future or until I break it and will update you then.
