Best There Is
I am incredibly grateful for this succulent mix!! Earlier this spring, all my succulents, 15 of them, got root rot from a name brand succulent mix. With desperation, I bought this mix with the tiny hope that some of them would survive. 13 out of 15 of my poor succulents was saved by this amazing mix. Some of them, not only are recovering, but thriving!! It’s high quality, fast draining, and also very beautiful. I am writing this review with so much gratitude, 10000% recommended, would buy again.

Good Orchid medium
I have multiple Orchids and they do need to be repotted at times, due to refreshing old mix or to expand. I like this mix as it is a good mixture of larger and smaller pieces to allow good drainage. It is about the best I have found. Pic is one of them just starting their bud stem.

Succulents thrive in Molly's
This is now the only brand I use for my succulents. It's excellent & they're thriving. Expensive, but definitely worth it.

My Favorite Substrate
My Mom recommended this to me (she also gifted me all of my plants, I wouldn’t have ever thought to buy them myself tbh, but now it’s a minor hobby of mine while at home). This stuff is really versatile, and can be used for a huge range of plants (especially if you combine it with other materials), although it is best for tropical plants that need aerated substrate but also need to be able to retain SOME water and be soil-like still (as opposed to pure orchid bark, moss or similar stuff). It’s very aerated and hard to over water; it drains well. I had a money tree that was dying of root rot back when I didn’t know what I was doing, and I repotted it with this soil and the tree came back a within a week or two. I probably won’t ever use a different mix for my monstera albo or money trees, I like this stuff. It looks and behaves like a chunky soil, so it’s easy to repot with (the plant won’t fall over when it’s dry like with orchid bark, for example). I’ve also checked my pH on my monstera with this and it’s neutral to slightly acidic, so it’s good to go. Like I said though, it somewhat resembles normal soil (albeit much chunkier) so when you use it, it will make a mess and get things dirty as opposed to orchid bark or something. So plan accordingly when replanting inside or whatever. Good stuff and very good value for the price IMO.

Wonderful chunky soil
I love this chunky soil. It's good quality and my Monsteras' thrive in it and my other plants as well. Pricey though, for just a medium size bag that will probably be used for one big planter, and not enough for another unless they are smaller, but as long as it works I will purchase because it will not attract those pesky fungus knats and bugs that live in the dirt if it's too moist. This soil avoids that. It doesn't retain water because it drains easily through the chunks. It looks great in the pot.

great succulent medium, but very pricy for the quantity you get.
this is an excellent potting medium for moisture sensitive succulents like Lithops. the 'soil' retains minimal moisture making it almost impossible to over water. it's not the easiest medium to plant into where you need to make a hole and place the plant down into it, but works well for those you can add the medium around the plant. the 5qt bag came sealed and dry but it doesn't contain 5 dry quarts, i filled 20 3inch clay pots and didn't have enough to fill another one. a nice advantage is you do not need a trop dressing with this as it has enough weight to stay in the pot and not float up when bottom watering. plenty of aeration for the roots to grow and great drainage without compacting.

Best potting mix for Hoyas and Aroids
While expensive, this soilless mix has been a lifesaver. It smells like the forest and works so well for my Hoyas.

Upgrading my cacti and succulent game
**Not sponsored or sent for free via Vine. Purchased 3 times on my own** This is my transition into gritty potting media for my cacti and succulent babies, which is so much healthier for them since it provides ample drainage and air flow. All I did was fill up my pots to the desired height, then put the plant inside while holding it upright, then filling around it. The drainage is phenomenal! I never have to worry about overwatering again. My desert rose and Madagascar palm are living their best lives; I truly haven't seen them so happy in the 5 years I've owned them. My echeveria and lithops are also thriving. The only ones that are iffy right now are my blue and silver torch cacti, which haven't shown any new growth in the 3.5 months when I started using this product, but I dug up the roots last week to see what's going on and all seems well; the roots are fuzzy which means they are super happy with the abundance of nutrients and air flow. So maybe they're just dormant? Never heard of a cactus being dormant in summer but whatever. Anyhow, everything seems cool thus far. Yes, this is much more expensive than your standard Miracle Gro soil from Home Depot, but if you're serious about giving your plants the best life you can, then switch to gritty mix. I don't even feel the urge to fertilize them because it seems like it already contains tons of nutritious and beneficial ingredients. One thing I will say is you might need to water more often! As I mentioned, the drainage is phenomenal, so it dries out super fast. I find that my succulents have been asking for more water actually! Oh and last thing: the bags seem to be inconsistent. My first one had mostly rocks, which is great, but the second one had a lot of dirt/soil-like material. Jordan from Very Plants confirmed that it is not soil but rather a different substrate that contains beneficial nutrients, but he understood that for consistency's sake all the bags should be standardized. My third bag seems to be middle-of-the-road: not as much rocks as the first, but not as much substrate as the second. It's fine though, no complaints.
