Review: Yes to the ratchet. - Have not had this for a long time, but so far find this a well-made product. I have had a similar product, but without the ratchet. I I like the ratchet. The only thing I would like, if possible, is a larger distance between the two sewn ribbons as this would make the useful diameter of the mop larger.

I love this mop! I keep buying them and the refills. Lightweight, sucks up a lot of liquid. Easy to use and clean. I just toss it in the washer machine. A little tricky to get back on but you get the hang of it..
