Robust
Survived and maintained performance installed in my attic all summer without any hitches. Definitely met stated temperature ratings.

Doesn't work with 24V POE
I bought this to use as 24V PoE, however it only works with 48V. Using a 24V power supply, the 24V POE devices would not power up.

Well Made and an Excellent Value!
I ordered the 5 port POE model and found it to be well made, sturdy and functional as expected. The industrial temperature rating makes this suitable for use in an attic or other unconditioned space, though the included power supply is not suitable for the same conditions. If you plan to use the switch in a high temperature location you'll want to pair it with an industrial temperature range DIN rail mountable power supply. Note that the included power supply (52VDC) does provide the voltage required to enable the POE function of the switch. If you use a lower voltage (below about 48VDC) supply the POE function is disabled. I really liked that the LEDs indicating status are bright. This helps to see operating status at a distance or in a very bright room. Time will tell how well this switch stands up in high temperature conditions, but it certainly costs much less than the MOXA branded industrial Ethernet switches I have been using. We'll see...

Pro Installers Only
Installation assumes a good knowledge of DC power supplies. Instructions do not state which color of the supplied DC power supply goes to the P+ and P- terminals. The red is voltage positive and goes to P+, the black is ground and goes to P-. Frankly, is incorrect to label the Ground as anything with a negative symbol when it comes to DC power supplies! I could see someone getting confused and wiring the black wire into the ground/earth input. The dual DC power inputs are great if redundancy is needed, I just wish they had put more effort into the manual. Like why they included a ground/earth terminal on the power input block as well as on the chassis... Seems odd. Instructions are lacking in specifications or detail overall and this switch is clearly not intended for power users or critical usage. For example, it is unclear if, like many other unmanaged PoE switches, this one has Energy Efficient Ethernet enabled by default on all ports. I also can't find info about the switching backplane capacity, or the type of chipset being used. Those sorts of details could be necessary for some applications. For my purposes, I will be using it in a mild interior environment, non-critical application, and am not mounting it on a DIN rail. I am connecting it to a control system and touch panel, both of which request standard 802.11af PoE, as well as a Windows PC, and of course the net feed. Power is supplied to the two PoE devices without issue. Running a WAN speed test with everything wired up and running, I am getting normal readings for my ISP, so the switch doesn't appear to be negatively or positively affecting throughput.

Works perfect in enclosure
I have had this up and running for several weeks in a 12x12x5 enclosure. It is running 4 poe hd cameras mounted on poles outside My primary draw was the lightning protection as we have lost several switches running cams due to surges. This is performing exactly as expected! The din rail mounting was a plus as we have a rail in the box.

1 GB router Was the Missing Link in my Home Office Network
I upgraded to 1 GB internet via Verizon FIOS and a WIFI 6 router with 1GB ports. But for our office computers we had them all with ethernet connections that were slow. Finally realized the culprit was the upstream switch/router that wasn't GB. This fixed the problem and it's both small and solidly built.

PoE requires 48V DC power supply
Product description should be crystal clear about power requirements for PoE operation. if power supply is less than 48V device operates as conventional switch.

Aluminum enclosure to keep it cooler!
I want to use this online to connect one camera that has remote control, so I can isolate it, from the rest of my system, to protect it from everyone I never gave permission to; to see what my other cameras are seeing.... I hope it allows me to do it. I'll update this review later (month or two) to let you know if, and how.

Overall it seems to be reasonably priced and solidly built switch with power supply redundancy, however, from the description it was not clear that the PoE would be not functional when supply voltage is below 47V (the switch itself works fine). Reduced one star because of that. I purchased this specifically for using it with low voltage backup power, now I will have to use an additional DC/DC voltage converter.
