We bought this to use on an Electric Log Splitter to keep from having to have both hands on the splitter when splitting wood. It plugs into the power cord, Good to go. I fixed the "Push this Button" with a cotter pin, it stays in all the time, good to go. Now you use the foot pedal to make the splitter extend out, splitting the wood, and let off the pedal, and the splitter retracks as it is meant to do. It is a good idea, and it works well. Glad I found it. It is a bit smaller than I imagined, but it works that makes it Good to Go.

Excellent foot switch I haven't hooked up to my floor fan you could pretty much hook anything up to it that draws 15 to 20 amps good product for the money

First and foremost is the price for this product is more than competitive, compared to other stores asking price. The ease at which I am able to attach it to the machine that I bought it for was as easy as plugging in a cord to the wall socket.
