Hercules Stands FS100B Footrest

Arrived on time, in perfect condition, as described on line. Excellent footrest. Best I have ever owned. Sturdy, not easily tipped, worth the investment.

Strong, balanced, effective guitar stand. It's a neutral-looking black stand, which is great because I don't like "noisy" logos. Just an excellent stand, of course, for your foot only, NOT to stand on top of!

I think this is worth the extra $ cheaper one have broken or tip easily if my foot isn’t on it. This one is sturdy and I can place my foot at any angle I please

A great stand, sturdy and big enough. Some folks might wish for one click of lower adjustment, I use it on the lowest setting and it's just right.

This is a very sturdy, well-built classical guitar footrest with an extra wide, non skid surface area. While the footrest is adjustable for height, it is always set at an angle, meaning your foot will rest on it either toes higher than heel (sloping towards you), or should you turn it around, heel higher than toes (sloping away from you). There is no position in which you can rest your foot in a horizontal position (i.e., parallel to the floor). As this is the position I have used for over 40 years, I was a bit disappointed. My old footrest had a metal flange which one could engage to get an angle, or disengage to have it flat. No such feature here. But as most footrests these days are angle only, and most are much flimsier than the Hercules, there was hardly any point to returning this. I simply cut a piece of 2x4 in my workshop, chiseled out notches in which the footrest's feet would nestle and secure, then put rubber feet on the bottom of the block of wood. I put this under the rear two feet of the footrest so now, in the elevation that is comfortable for me, the footrest is perfectly flat, and with any weight at all on it, the footrest and elevating block are as one piece. So, I knock off a star since I had to do this and now must carry an extra piece of wood in my gig bag. But if you are a player who likes an angled footrest, then consider this a five star review.

T hi s is really solid and feels heavy duty. It is wider than the old cheaply built versions. It feels more stable and doesn’t tick or fall over while in use. Good product.

I've been playing guitar for 6+ years and always got back pain after 3 or 4 hours of playing. I knew about these foot rests and I've seen my fellow players use them but never gave them much thought. A friend suggested I try one several years ago but I thought it was just conversation. My wife suggested I try a different position for my leg so I used an old cigar box and what a difference. I got this foot rest, which has the correct angle and adjusted to a proper height and all I can say it WOW! And my back pain is gone! Silly me. . .I shoulda listened years ago! Strongly suggest you get one of these as soon as you can!
